The funeral was over and tear stained faces were leaving the great hall. I walked out with fred and george when jasper came up to us."You got a minute?" He asks me. I smile and walk next to him.
"Hey," I say and entwine my hands with his.
"Hey," he said and we sat down on one of the steps. "I'm gonna miss you."
My heart sank, "me too," I said and rested my head on his shoulder. He rubbed circles on my hand and I smiled sadly.
"Write to me?" I said and looked at him.
"Of course i will," he says, his voice breaking.
"Dont cry man, then im going to too," I say and give him a hug.
"I'm leaving the love of my life here, how do you expect me not to cry?"
A tear slipped down my cheek and I sniffed. "Please, it's ok, I'll visit."
He pulled away and kissed me. It was desperate and sad. I kissed him back and rested my forehead on his. "I'll always be here if you need to talk. Just send a letter addressed to Andrew lansley and I'll write back."
"Who?" He laughs quietly.
"Well youre not going to write to a girl once you're married are you?" I say and a fresh tear rolls down my cheek.
"I will write to you, and if she gets a divorce because of that, then shes unstable," he says and I laugh.
Everyone was getting onto their rides and I stood up. "I love you jasper, I always will."
"I love you too," he says and kisses me softly.
"Oi jasper, get on," one of his roommates yells.
"Bye," I say, the tears coming freely now. He gives me a hug.
"Bye love," he says and walks away, looking back just before his ship sailed, and blew me a kiss. I waved him bye and sat back down on the steps.
I wiped my eyes with the sleeve of my jacket and watched the ship until it was gone under the sea.
"Hey," I heard and looked up. Hermione was standing there and sat down next to me.
"Hey, how are you?" I asked, knowing that victor left too.
"Oh I'm alright, but you aren't," she says and I laugh weakly.
"Yeah, who knew a break up was so bad?"
She pulled me in and I gave her a hug. "Dont worry Fatima, you both love each other, and that's what matters."
"Yeah I guess," I say and pull away, "anyway, hows it going with ron?" I ask and she blushed.
"Nothing really, I mean I dont think he feels the same so I think I'm gonna let it go," she says.
"Oh he feels the same alright, and I'm going to prove it this summer, even if you two deny it," I say and she frowns.
"This summer?" She says.
"Oh yeah I totally forgot but I was thinking that you guys could come over to my house in the last week of the summer," I say and she smiles.
"Sounds great," she says. I smile and get up.
"Well, now I've got to go pack, see you later," i say to her and she smiles back.
"See you."
I walked away and up the steps of the staircase. I thought back to everything that happened this year and a laugh bubbled in my throat. It was probably one of the most chaotic years we've had since harry got here. I opened the portrait and walked upstairs. My trunk was pretty much packed, i just wanted to see the pictures we had taken on the yule ball.
I skipped through them and came to the ones with me and jasper. I smiled as tears rolled down my cheeks. The first love of my life was getting married, but not to me. Amazing. I laughed. I felt like I was going to pass out.
Black spots covered my vision and my breathing became shallow. I gripped the side of the bed and sat down. My vision was clouded and then everything went black.

"Shes going to give me a heart attack," I heard a familiar voice say.
"You need to relax fred, shes ok," someone else said.
"This is the second time this week!" He yelled.
"Ok, Mr-overreacter, madam pomfrey said shes ok, keep your voice in check."
I stirred and slowly opened my eyes. Fred and george were both standing at the foot of the bed and I cringed as I sat up. Neither of them looked at me as they were staring at each other.
"You guys gonna kiss or something?" I said, my voice coming out scratchy.
Both their heads snapped in my direction.
"Oh thank god," george said and walked over to me. "I lost half of my brain cells since you fainted."
I laughed but cringed as it hurt my side. "Ah," I said and fred rushed over.
"Are you ok? I'm going to call madam pomfrey," he said and sprined in the opposite direction.
"What's his problem?" I asked.
"I have no clue," he shrugged and I glared at him.
"Of course you do," I said but he shrugged again. I huffed. "Anyway, what happened?"
"Well, Lydia went upstairs to get her trunk, but when she saw you on the floor passed out, she ran back down and she saw me, so I carried you here while she ran and told madam pomfrey. I met fred along the way and he freaked out," he said casually and I smiled.
"Typical last day, no?" I joked and he laughed.
"Yep," he said and held my hand, "I'm glad you're ok, cause otherwise im telling you, I would have passed out on the other bed because I would have lost all my brain cells."
I laughed but it hurt my side again. "Did I hit something when I fell?"
"Yeah, madame pomfrey said that you probably hit the foot of your bed cause theres a pretty big bruise there," he said and pointed at my waist.
Madam pomfrey came back with a red faced fred. I smiled at her and she pulled out a small vial from her apron.
"Take this dear, itll reduce the pain," she said and handed me the yellowish liquid. I crinkled my nose as I took a sniff. I gulped it down at once and felt like vomiting.
"That," I said pointing at the now empty vial, "was disgusting." Fred smiled weakly but George grinned.
"Looks like it's all sorted, so I'm going to go save us some seats on the train," George said and left the infirmary.
"You alright?" I asked fred.
"I should be asking you that," he said and smiled.
"I'm ok," I said. His face was losing its red colour and I smiled.
He sat down but I was getting up. "You need to rest y/n," he said and quickly stood back up to help me.
"We need to go," I said and he put his arm around my waist to support me. "I'm ok freddie, I can walk."
He let go slowly and i balanced myself. "Ok then," he said but still walked on the same speed as me.
I huffed and walked a little faster. We got downstairs and boarded the train. We found George in one of the compartments and he looked at fred. He shook his head and george smiled. Fred handed him a sickle and I frowned.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"Nothing," they both said and I shook my head and sat down on the bench, putting my legs up and falling asleep.
