"The fucking ginger? Come on y/n, even jasper was better than that," he said and I gave him a look."But that's the thing! Jasper wasnt better than that, as far as the kissing goes," I said.
Draco rolled his eyes.
"Sorry," I said. He shook his head.
"No it's not a problem, I mean you've listened to way worse from me anyway."
"So what's up with you anyway?" I asked him.
"Well dads been trying to make contact with all of the old death eaters, that is if their not dead. And mums been worried sick and is trying to stop him but he just wont budge. Probably cause he visits alot and acts like we're all one big happy family," he said and sighed. "And hes trying to get me in on it too."
I cringed. "What have you been doing about it?"
"I've not been living at home. I moved around the place, but wherever I went he found me in a couple days."
"Is he going to come here? Cause mum and dad dont know anything about him and I frankly wouldnt know how to defend them or myself if he did."
"No hes not, he gave up on it, believe it or not. But he did say I'm going to have to pay for this. Probably going to give me a mission of some sort," he said and laid back on the bed.
"Well just let me know if theres ever anything I could do," i said and gave him a small smile.
We sat in a comfortable silence before mum yelled from downstairs.
"Dads home!"
I grinned and jumped off the bed. Skipping the steps, I gave dad a big hug and he laughed.
"Whatre you doing home kiddo?" He chuckled.
"Helping out a friend," I said and pulled away.
He ruffled my hair and took off his coat. I glared at him and he smiled. Rolling my eyes, I say draco standing awkwardly in the corner.
"Dad, this is draco malfoy, draco this is my dad," I said to them and dad extended his hand.
"Nice to meet you draco, how are you?"
"I'm fine sir, thanks," draco said slowly, clearly not used to the gesture.
"So I'll go change and then we'll eat," he said and kissed my temple. "Help your mother."
"Help your wife," I said back but still went into the kitchen.
"Need any help?" I asked.
"Just set the table please dear. Draco please sit down, lunch will be done in a minute," she said and draco sat down.
I pulled out the dishes, glasses and cutlery from the shelf and put it on the table. Mum cut up a salad and placed it next to the dish of pasta. Dad came down and we started to eat.
Draco was sitting next to me all stiff, so I nudged him to relax. His shoulders fell slightly but nothing more.
"So draco, what brings you here?" Dad asked, taking a bite.
I kicked mum from under the table and signed to her to tell dad bot to talk about that.
"Well, I guess I just needed to get out of my house," he said.
Dad looked over at mum and then didnt ask any further.
"Do you play any sports?" Dad asked, trying to make conversation again.
"Yes, I play quidditch," he said, sipping his water.
"Hes seeker of the slytherin team dad," I added.
"Wow, must enjoy playing against harry then?" He chuckled.
"Yeah I do actually, he puts up a good fight," draco laughed.
We all had a pleasant conversation while eating, and draco seemed to relax through it.
Dad helped mum cleared up the table while draco was going on about never having left his house before.
"Well son, you're welcome here any time," dad said and squeezed his shoulder.
Draco gave him a small smile, although the look in his eyes gave away more than that.
"I'm gonna go up to bed, long day tomorrow," I said.
"Me too," draco said.
"Goodnight," mum said.
We both walked up the stairs and I gave draco one of the pyjamas I had bought for harry that he didnt wear.
"Bathrooms right ahead and the guest room is to the left," I said and smiled.
"Thanks so much y/n, for everything."
"Anytime."

Year 7
"If you need to talk, send an owl," I said to draco while we were passing by each other on the stairs.
"Got it," he said back and we split ways.
Ron and hermione were leading us towards the dormitory, and I was trying my best to avoid them. Harry was next to me, still mad at professor Dumbledore. I managed to make it to The dormitory without talking to any of them, but as soon as I was going upstairs, george stopped me.
"Still mad?"
"Not at you, no."
He opened his arms and I stepped into them happily.
"Did you see the pink toad?"
I smacked his chest, "George! But yes, hard to miss really," I said. He laughed and pulled away.
"Hey."
I turned around and fred was standing there. His eyes were red and had bags under their eyes.
"Hi," I said and stalked up the steps to my room.

"Wands away, books out," Professor Umbridge said and I frowned.
"No wands?" I asked.
"Turn to page 30 and start reading. If you have any questions raise your hand."
I flipped the book open and practiced the spell on the page.
"I'm sorry Ms. Y/l/n, but did you not hear? I said no wands," she said, a sick smile on her face.
"Well unfortunately for you professor, I need my wand to practice the spell on the page," I said and returned her horrible smile.
It faltered slightly but came back as quick as it went. "Turn to page 1 and read the instruction page."
"Alright then," I said and flipped the pages. George nudged me from under the table telling me to stop but I ignored him.
I held my wand and practiced the movements written on the page.
"Ms. Y/l/n!"
"Yes?"
"No wands!"
"I need it to do what's written on the page you told me to read."
"Put it away."
"I wouldnt be listening to your previous instructions then."
Her face flared red. "Detention! In my office at 4 sharp."
