We were back from Bulgaria, sitting in the common room. Exhausted from our trip, we decided to spend the rest of the break here instead of going back and forth for two days. I sent mum and dad an owl as soon as we reached, telling them about the wedding and attaching a couple pictures of us to the letter.
Fred was lying on the couch, his eyes drooping.
"Go to sleep freddie," I whispered to him, putting his head down on my lap. I ran my fingers through his hair, giving him a massage as he slipped away to sleep.

"GEORGE!" Fred boomed across the field.
I jumped as george cackled next to me. A very angry and very blue Fred came and stood in front of us, fuming. His hair and neck were as blue as a blueberry.
"Oh my god! What happened?" I exclaimed, standing up to get a better look.
"This idiot," fred started, kicking george, "left one of our colorful conditioners in our bathroom. We were testing them out, and I precisely told him to make sure to put them away."
George was recovering from his laughing fit and stood to join us. "It doesn't look too bad, just tolerate it for two days mate," he said, putting a hand on his shoulder.
Now it was my turn to laugh. "Two days! Looks like we've got ample time to make fun of him then, georgie."
Fred grumbled. George and I laughed together. "Dont worry blueberry, I still adore you," I giggled, planting a soft kiss on his lips.

Months had passed and it was spring time now. The DA harry was secretly running was still going strong, despite the constant watch of Professor umbridge. Fred, george and I were just headed out for a walk in the grounds when a bunch of third years came running in.
"What's wrong with you lot?" George asked.
One of the overly excited teenagers broke away from the crowd and stood in front of us. "Harry and hermione got rid of Professor umbridge!" He squealed and ran off again.
Worry split through me. Fred and george exchanged a look and then we were out. We all wanted to know what happened. I spent the evening looking for anyone that could tell us what had happened, before i realized that draco was the person I should be looking for.
I stopped in the middle of our walk, Fred's arm slipping off my shoulders.
"Whats wrong?" He asked me, coming to stand in front of me. George stopped too, turning to look at us.
"I just remembered I needed to speak with a friend, they said it was urgent but it slipped my mind in all this worry. You guys head back I will be a while," I said hurriedly and pecked Fred on the cheek before scurrying off to the slytherin common rooms.
I waited outside the dungeon for someone to call draco out for me. Blaze was walking towards it, a pretty girl on his arm.
"Draco?" He asked and I nodded politely. The girl gave me a quizzical look but I just returned it with a smile. I came here often when draco needed to talk, but never went inside. It was a sort of unspoken rule between all the houses not to intrude.
A few minutes later draco came stumbling out of the door, fixing his tie.
"Caught you at a bad time?" I winced, seeing his glare.
"Yeah y/l/n, what's wrong?" He asked.
"What's this going on about umbridge? What happened?"
He chuckled dryly. "Potter and that granger girl took her out to the forest and she never came back. They've been gone since this morning. No idea what's happened though."
"Why did she go out there with them? Surely she knew better?"
"It was granger. She spewed some nonsense about Dumbledore's secret weapon, so umbridge followed her out. All of us knew it was rubbish, but to be honest we were all sick of that pink toad, so anything to get her out of here was better," he shrugged and I nodded.
"Right. So, you're okay?" I asked him. We hadnt properly spoken since winter and he seemed kind of off.
"Yeah, all good."
I frowned. "Yeah, okay. Whenever you realize I'm still here to talk, find me."
"Gotcha."

It was late in the evening when the common room door opened and ginny, neville, hermione, ron and harry came in. They were all bandaged up and exhausted. I pushed my potions homework to the side and pulled them all to the couch. Fred and george had already gone to bed, so it was just us.
Harry's eyes were bloodshot. He didn't say a word while I asked a house elf to bring up some food. No one was speaking. They all stared at their hands as I fidgeted anxiously in the arm chair.
"Wel say something! Any of you. Coming in this late at night all bruised up and silent. What's going on?"
"Y/n..." hermione trailed off. I urged her to continue, but she gave harry a side glance and stopped.
I waited for what felt like ages before harry spoke, his voice deadly, "Sirius is dead."
My hands flew to my face, covering my mouth. A sob escaped my lips, and hot tears fell down my face. I stared at harry, but he didnt meet my gaze.
"How?" I managed, and then ron continued.
"Bellatrix that bitch shot him with the killing spell, and he fell through some sort of veil, and then he disappeared."
I didnt ask anymore questions and got up, moving to Harry's side and engulfing him in a tight hug. He sat still for a while before returning it just as fiercely. Sirius was all he had left of his parents, especially when Professor lupin didnt visit as often. I knew he wanted to move in with sirius eventually, so this must be unbelievably horrible for him. He cried quietly on my shoulder as the rest of them bundled up some sandwiches and went upstairs to bed.
Harry and I sat there for hours, crying together. Once I finally managed to gather myself, I held harry by the shoulders, forcing him to look at me.
"Dont forget why we started this. Sirius did not die in vain, he died because he believed in you, and in a better future for us all. We won't let him down. He won't go unavenged, you hear me?"
He nodded, tears still flowing down his face. I wiped his tears and laid his head on my shoulders, and we watched the sun rise up together.
