"This one?" I asked, holding out a slight lime colored dress.

"Magenta with that? Absolutely not," mum said and put it back.

"Then what mum? The only solution is that I get a magenta colored dress!"

"No, that would look horrible," she mumbled while dad laughed in the background.

"Dad! You could be of some help you know," I grumbled and sat next to him while mum looked around.

I heard mum gasp from behind one of the racks. She quickly came over to me and my jaw dropped.

She was holding a dark-blue dress in her hands that had a V neckline and long sleeves. Little crystals lined the neckline and dripped down like rain. The back was cut low, but the dress itself was full length.

"Go try it on!" she exclaimed. I clambered up and took the dress out of her hands.

I put it on in the changing room and looked at myself. It fit perfectly. The top outlined my figure while the bottom part was flowing nicely around me.

I unlocked the door and mum gasped.

"No way," dad frowned.

I frowned back at him, mum glaring.

"Why?"

"Well, I suppose Jasper would leave Louise at the alter if he saw you in that," he said, pointing at my dress, "and I don't want my daughter to be a home-wreaker."

I pursed my lips at him and mum huffed.

"He wouldn't do that," I mumbled, smoothing off the dress in front of the mirror.

I thought back to our time at Hogwarts when we snuck out to meet each other in the night, or me asking the elves to make us his favorite foods. A blush rose to my face and I shook my head.

"He wouldn't do that," I said, louder this time, "he would never do that to Louise."

Dad just shrugged. "I was joking kiddo. I'm sure he wouldn't. Now, go get this dress, you look absolutely stunning."

"Thanks dad," I said as he kissed my forehead.

"Perfect. Now go change," mum said and pushed me back into the changing room.

"Fred, for the last time, its fine! Dad was happy to lend you the suit," I groaned.

He looked at himself in the mirror. Fred had sent a quick owl back that he didn't have a suit to wear for the wedding. I had told dad, and he was more than fine lending him the suit.

"I don't care that he lent me the suit!"

"Then what's your problem?" I said, crossing my legs on his bed.

George was out somewhere, so we had the dorm to ourselves. Fred gave himself the tenth once over since he put on the clothes.

"I mean, what type of first impression does that give your family? Your boyfriend doesn't have enough money to buy a fucking suit. Oh my god, I wont be able to look your dad in the eyes ever again," he said, pacing in front of the mirror now.

I smiled softly and got off the bed, walking over to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked up at him. His hair was shorter now, having cut it for the wedding. He stared back at me, the frown on his face easing slightly.

"You were my best friend Fred, and now you are my boyfriend. You made your first impression on mum and dad when you made sure I was able to get to them safely at the end of first year. I don't care if you cant afford a suit, because im sure that all the effort you are putting in opening that joke shop is going to pay off, now stop sulking and relax, you look great."

He smiled back at me, wrapping his own arms around my waist. He kissed my forehead and I smiled.

"Thanks y/n," he mumbled and kissed me softly. I kissed him back, wanting to be near him. After a week, it felt weird not being with him. Fred's hand went into my hair, pulling me even closer. I pulled at dads coat, feeling the familiar fabric beneath my fingers. I pulled away from him and he frowned.

"What?"

"You're wearing dads suit," I said.

"Would you rather I took it off?" I winked.

"I would actually," I said and sat back down onto his bed. He stood straight for a couple seconds before laughing off my comment.

But all I could think about was Jasper. I remembered pulling at his shirt the time I first told him I loved him. I could feel his lips on mine when I kissed Fred. I couldn't believe myself. It had been a whole year now.

He began to take of the coat when I stood up suddenly. He looked back at me, the coat now strung over the bed post.

"What's wrong?" he asked..

"Nothing, I just, uh, need some air. I'll talk to you later," I said quickly and walked out of his room, speeding down the stairs.

I bumped into George on the stairs on my way down.

"Hey y/n," he said but stopped and pulled at my arm. "Are you okay?"

He was frowning at me, concern laced in his eyes. He looked up the stairs then and a sort of realization clicked in them.

"Did... did Fred...?" he started but I stopped him before he could say anything else.

"No, he didn't. But I thought I might have if I stayed in your room any longer. Now, if you excuse me," I said and pulled my arm out of his grip and walked away without waiting for an answer.

I left the common room, not looking around and walking around aimlessly. I ended up at the library, and I took the route to the end. I found a small corner and sat there, staring blankly in front of me.

"Hey," I heard from my side. I blinked, not having noticed anyone walk up to me yet.

I looked up, Draco standing in front of me. I blinked my eyes a couple times, getting the black spots out of view.

"What do you want?" I grumbled, not in the mood to talk to anyone.

"Harsh. I get you don't want to listen to me right now, so I thought we could reverse the roles just this once. You look like you need someone to talk to."

I furrowed my brows. "The big-headed, rude, and abnoxious Draco Lucius Malfoy, wants to listen to me rant?"

He scrunched up his nose in disgust. "Don't make me change my mind. And don't call me those things ever again."

"Alright, alright," I said, scooching over. He took the seat next to me stiffly. "Oh my god, relax Draco, no one is going to judge you."

"Everyone is going to judge me. Now get on with it."

I certainly didn't hold back. I don't know why, but I felt comfortable telling him about my problems. I talked and talked, and he listened and listened. Not once did he interrupt. When I was done, he sat silently.

"Bloody hell y/l/n, I didn't know you had all those issues," he said, shocked.

I chuckled dryly. "Everyone has their problems. I'm sure you know that."

He nodded. "I do. And quite frankly, as much as I don't like him, im going to say that Weasley is the better option here. I mean, Jasper is getting married. I know you guys loved each other, but if he did as much as you do, he would have at least tried to convince his father to change his mind."

I stared at him. He looked back at me and scooched away from me.

"What?" he said, a mock look of disgust on his face.

"Who knew you gave such good love advice."

"I learned from the best."
