We arrived to the wedding hall. It was a little further from the little village fred and I had visited yesterday, so we had to call a taxi to take us there. I had spend the rest of my morning with fred, sending an apologetic text to Louise. She was quick to reply with a no worries and that was that.

I had to push fred off me this morning to get ready. We both hopped into the bathroom for a quick shower and I began getting ready. I blowdried my hair and pushed rollers in keep some of the volume and asked fred to press my dress while I hurriedly did my makeup since we were getting late. He pulled it out of the suitcase and ran the steamer over it. Pulling my hair into a half up half down, I secured it with a magenta bow-clip and tweaked it in the mirror.

I gave fred a kiss as I swiped the dress away from him and put it on. He had brought a matching navy blue tie to match my dress when I told him it'd color. George told me he scurried the house for a blue tie as he wanted to assert his authority over me. I snickered at his comment. I had gotten a magenta pocket holder for fred too, for the touch of magenta in his clothes. He stood ready at the door while I put some finishing touches on my makeup.

"You look absolutely gorgeous, love," he whispered, coming up to me and wrapping  his arms around my waist. I smiled, tilting my head up to look at him

"Thanks, not too bad yourself."

He leaned in for a kiss but I swerved my head, making his kiss land on my jaw.

"Hey!" He exclaimed.

I giggled, "I just put on my lipstick! It's gonna smudge."

"Let me kiss my sexy girlfriend in peace," he huffed before going in again and planting a soft kiss on my lips. I smiled into it, pulling him closer by the neck.

A knock sounded at the door and we both split apart, fred going to answer the door and me fixing my lipstick. I hurried to the door where the taxi driver stood waiting. Fred grabbed my hand and we were off.

The hall was stunning. A flower arch stood at the entrance, with a board that had Jasper and Louise written on it in cursive. The room itself had pastel flowers lining the aisle, and every chair had a different flower hanging off the back attached to some ribbon. On the right was a large table on which the wedding gifts were lying, so I placed our wrapped gift there too. The carpet was a magenta color, leading up to the alter, where a larger but similar flower arch stood.

Guests were loitering around the hall, conversing with one another. A group of Jaspers friends whom I recognized from the tournament were standing in the corner, all in crisp black suits and  magenta pocket holders. I assumed they were the groomsmen, since they were all wearing the exact same thing.

Fred excused himself to the bathroom and I stood there with a glass of champagne a waiter was carrying around. One of Jaspers friends noticed me and motioned for me to join them. I put on a pleasant smile and talked with them for a while before noticing fred with a girl attached to his arm.

I frowned, watching them since fred hadnt noticed me yet. She was laughing at something he must have said, but he looked entirely uncomfortable as he tried to escape her grasp. I excused myself from the guys and headed to them.

Fred looked at me and relief filled his eyes, but as soon as he noticed the expression on my face his turned alarmed. I stopped in front of them and the girl turned to look at me. She was beautiful. Her long brown hair fell in soft curls down her bare shoulders, her dark green dress pooling around her feet. She was slightly shorter than i was, but her eyes didn't give away a single bit of intimidation.

"Hi! You are?" I asked, slightly higher pitched than I would usually speak. Fred cringed. I only smiled.

"Veronica. And you are?" She said, giving me a once over while stroking Fred's arm. He had pulled it away from her, but they were still close enough for her to touch him without it looking awkward. I gave them a fleeting look before fred quite literally jumped away from her hand.

"His girlfriend," I said before kissing fred passionately, ignoring the pure shock on her face. Fred's arms wrapped tightly around my waist as I tugged at his hair. I pulled away and wiped a finger across his lips to remove any lipstick. She walked away then, leaving the two of us.

I let go of fred and he stood there grinning like an idiot.

"I honestly don't understand why you're smiling. I'm unbelievably mad at you right now," I said, pulling out my lipstick and a hand mirror.

The ceremony was about to start as the officiator arrived, so everyone rushed to get good seats. Fred and I settled for one of the middle rows, finding seats next to the aisle. I sat on the open end, wanting to get a good look of Lousies dress.

Slow music started playing and Jasper walked down the aisle, looking all too nervous. He reached the front and gave everyone a tight smile. I resisted the urge to grin at him and his fidgeting fingers. Music started playing once again, this time with bridesmaids walking down the aisle first. They all wore different styles of magenta colored dresses, suiting their skin tones well. Finally, Louise and her father stepped onto the aisle and everyone stood up.

I whipped my gaze towards Jasper instead of looking at Louise and my heart melted. He was tearing up at the sight of her in her wedding dress. She looked absolutely stunning. The white bodice clung to her slim figure, the silk of the dress falling nicely around her feet, trailing her. Her veil extended to her waist, the white material covering done up hair.

She reached the front and at this point jasper had tears running down his face. She smiled and wiped them away. The ceremony concluded and they shared a beautiful kiss as cheers erupted from the audience. I clapped and hollered along, happy for the newlyweds.
