YEONJUN POV

We arrived at the venue as we all walked in through the crowd that was outside with cloth covering each of our faces. At the entrance, we were given some passes which we hung around our neck as we all walked into the actual venue. As soon as we stepped, blinding lights and flashing of cameras started, as we covered our eyes subtlety and took our seats in front of the press. There were cameras there too, many of them pointing at us from each angle. Behind the cameras, about 45 reporters were present, each with a notepad and pen, mics attached to the collars of their shirts.

"Going live in 5, 4.."

The cameraman signaled the rest with his hand, as the cameras started rolling, and one of the main reporters spoke infront of the camera.

"This is an honor, as we are all here and present in the flesh of our heroes who protect us every day of the threats living among us, here are the top 5 of VCO Investigators!"

The reporters behind the cameras clapped, as the clapping sounds died down soon. We were told to remove the cloth at the entrance, so now, we were wearing masks instead to cover our faces. One of the reporters got up, and that was his first question itself.

"Why are you all wearing masks for? What are you hiding from us, Investigators?"

I looked over at that reporter as he was standing up among the crowd. Minho took the chance to answer his question as we all looked at him.

"Yes, the reason behind that is very simple actually if you think about it. Modern day vampires blend in with humans in almost every way, and it's almost impossible to spot them in a crowd unless they cant control themselves. Realizing this, we're wearing masks to protect ourselves, knowing that if there will be vampires watching this live or anywhere, seeing our face, we'll be the ones directly targeted."

The reporter sat down as the others took notes. Another of them stood up to ask something as we looked at her.

"Since you guys are professionals and have much knowledge about these beasts, would you all care sharing some basics with the society?"

I nodded at the second reporter's question and switched on my mic, as I adjusted it and spoke into it.

"Truth be told, that was the main purpose of us being here in the first place. Recently, vampire killings have been pretty active and this is a major threat to all. We've contacted other countries, and it seems the vampire problem exists nowhere but in Japan."

Another reporter promptly stood up and asked another question.

"Then the solution is simple, isn't it? All the people move from Japan-"

"And do you the other countries will let those huge masses of people fleeing from here in?"

The reporter stood there quietly now as Kai continued.

"The other countries won't care about helping us they'd want to stay away from us at all costs if anything more. They would care about the safety of their people and their nation first, rather than trying to help us. If people started fleeing from in masses, or not, the countries wont allow them in their country with the fear of that person being a vampire. I hope that answers your question, mam."
