'The feeding season of the vampires was over. This meant they wouldn't have the urge to feed again until next month's full moon. The effect of the feeding taking over starts days before, as they feel themselves starving to death slowly as the days forward towards the full moon night. In those days, they have such a striking hunger for blood, no matter what they eat or drink, nothing shall satisfy their quench for blood.

Vampires have existed side-by-side of the human race in secret. About 1500 years ago, vampires were just humans until they were infected by a virus which created a thirst for blood in their system, and completely modified their lifestyle and themselves. A vampire's hearing and sense of sight is a thousand times more advanced than a human's, thus it gives them an advantage for preying. Vampires, though were first humans, have changed completely. A vampire's blood is red just like a human, but as they've evolved and discovered cannibalism, the blood of the cannibal vampires turns into a black fluid.

Today, the society knows about the existence of vampires which was hidden away for so many years, all because of the sudden massacre in 1948. On February 3rd, 1948, a few days away from the full moon, there was a massacre of thousands of humans in a factory, found dead with their life sucked out of them as their flesh stuck to their bones and their skin as insipid and parched as ever with not a drop of blood left in them, and once the bodies were inspected, nothing was found.

This was another trait of a vampire. When their fangs dig into the nape of a human for feeding, the fangs leave a residue which makes the skin of the prey heal fast to leave no evidence or marks.

The factory which was attacked that night was the Aoraki Textiles. That was the first event that led to the several more which made people connect the dots and figure out the truth.

The second event was the spotting of a vampire feeding. A man living in a cabin in a forest had found two women in the dense trees of forest. He claimed that he couldn't see very clearly in the dark, but suddenly one woman had fell to the ground. He said that in the second he was looking at the body of the woman, lifeless on the ground, when he raised his eyes, the other woman had vanished out of thin air. When he went out to check if the woman on the ground was still alive and okay, he said he screamed in pure horror to find the woman's body to be turned into a complete skeleton-'

"Hot shot, get here quick!" A voice yelled out as Soobin switched his phone off, throwing it on his bed, and got up from the beanbag in his room. He went to the voice that called to him, Yoona's room.

"I told you to stop calling me that. What language do you want me tell you for you to understand, dumbass?" He said, annoyed, as he sat in the edge of her bed, where she was sitting with her laptop.

"Forget that, look at this." She said, turning her laptop towards him, as he closed in a bit to see. It was an article. About the latest press conference with the VCO investigators.

"I don't want to ruin my mood looking at that." He said, looking away. "Your mood is always ruined; it won't hurt to ruin it more. Just read this." She snarked back at him.

"Shorty, get in here too!" She yelled from her room, as Soobin read the article. Soon, Hyejin walked into her room with her bandaged waist. "You little-" She started before grabbing onto Yoona with her left hand, as claw-like nails grew on her fingertips, ready to attack Yoona.

"I'm sorry! I'M SORRY! JIN, STOP THAT, YOU'RE SCARING ME" She yelled as she moved frantically, as Soobin took the laptop from Yoona, smiling slightly at their silly plays, and set it on his leg which was folded on his other. "Good girl," Hyejin said as she let go of Yoona, her nails going back to their original size.

"What did you call me for?" She said, cracking her knuckles, as Soobin tapped her back, showing her the article he was reading. She bent down to get a closer look, as she read-

World-renowned VCO investigators have a press conference in Tokyo, Japan. They leave useful tips for the civilians. They tell us about the classes of vampires, most to least dangerous:

SSS rated- Cannibals. Most dangerous of all with no mercy, no heart.

SS rated- Cannibals. Second most dangerous. They have mercy with heart, but no guarantee on their behavior when hungry.

S rated- Vampires. They are dangerous but not much. They aren't cannibals and are said to be almost like humans. They are said to blend in so well, that there's almost no way of telling. Though they might seem like humans, they can into monsters when feeding.

D rated- They are second to weakest vampires. They refuse to feed and kill any human until their hunger gets in their Mind and drives them mad.

R rated- They are said to be a new-found species of vampires. They are the weakest of them all as they are said that they believe they are human. These vampires won't feed no matter how crazy it might drive them.

The VCO has advised civilians to be careful who they are accompanied with and have relations with. Stay in crowded places as a vampire, unless SSS rated, cannot attack when in crowded places. The SSS-rated vampires are an exception as they can feed or kill any crowd, no matter how large the number. But since there aren't many SSS-rated vampires in existence, being in crowded places is quite the safest option.

...

"You brought me here to read this bullshit?" Hyejin said, disgusted and unbothered. "These VCO investigators make us seem like monsters every day.. and now, especially vampires like you two now.." Yoona said.

"At least they don't shame all vampires. They see us monsters, that's fine by me because we are. But the other species of vampires aren't. There are children who are born vampires. They face the same humiliation, being called monster indirectly from all humans, even though they have done nothing wrong." Soobin said, as he put the laptop away.

"The SSS-rated ones like me and Hyejin still deserve to be called monsters, don't you think so, Hyejin?" He asked as he looked up to see the injured girl. Hyejin looked down at him without moving a muscle as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. She looked away from him and zoned out, looking into empty space as she spoke.

"Sure."
