Scarlett and her brother hugged for what seemed like forever until Polly cleared her throat. Scarlett turned around with a big smile on her face.
"Guys. This is my older brother, Wesley."
They looked up in shock, except Tommy. She started introducing everyone to him. Wesley and Ada stared at each other for a few seconds after they were introduced. Scarlett smiled at Ada, who was blushing. It was good seeing Ada being interested in men again after Freddie died a while ago. Scarlett and her brother sat down at the table.
"So how long has it been since you two have seen each other?" Polly asked.
"My mom took me away when Scarlett was 10 and I was 12....so about 15/16 years." Wesley said.
There was a silence at the table.
"Well you're back together now." Ada said breaking it.
Wesley smiled at Scarlett.
"Liam and Lane are here. You remember them right?"
He nodded and smirked.
"Man! Liam was so in love with you when we were kids." He said.
Scarlett gave a fake laugh.
"And you were in love with....oh....what's his name—" He trailed off thinking.
           "Hunter Avery!" He yelled.
It got the whole groups attention and everyone was staring at the two.
"Where is he now? He was the smartest kid."
           "Hunter and I were engaged—"
"That's amazing Scarlett! Where's the ring?" He cut in.
She swallowed hard and looked up at the group and then gave Wesley a look. He was confused and then saw everyone staring at Scarlett.
           "What? What is it?"
"He's dead, Wes. He was murdered the morning of our wedding." She said quietly.
He looked at her with wide eyes.
           "Oh Scarlett, I'm so—"
She put her hand on his and shook her head.
"It's okay. You don't have to. That's all I've heard since it happened." She said with no emotion.
He nodded and leaned back.
"You haven't changed. Flipping that switch off just like dad taught you."
"You know it's your face, but mom's words." She snapped back.
He laughed and then playfully pushed his sister's arm.
"Just as fiery as ever. Is she like this all the time?" He asked the group.
           "And sarcastic." Tommy mumbled.
Scarlett shot him a look as he smirked.
"Anyway, so what do you do, Wesley?" Ada asked.
"I'm a detective in San Francisco." He said proudly.
Scarlett literally choked on her drink. Everyone was just frozen as they stared at him in disbelief.
"Did you change your last name?" Scarlett said sarcastically.
           "Mom's maiden name. Wesley Black."
Scarlett looked down and nodded.
"So they don't know who your father is?" She asked quietly.
"Look, mom did all of this when I was 12. Do you think I wanted to leave New York? Leave dad? Leave you?." He said as he shook her shoulder.
"You're right. I'm just glad you're here now." She said as she shook her head.
           "Me too."
"Speaking of that...did you find dad? Is that how you found me?" Scarlett asked him.
He shook his head and looked up at Tommy. Scarlett looked up at him as well.
"Come on mate. Let's get you a refill." Arthur said as he pulled Wesley to the bar.
Scarlett was still looking at Tommy. She couldn't believe he did this for her. He searched for her brother and brought him here. She got up and walked over to him.
"You? You found him and brought him here?" She asked softly.
"Everyone deserves to know their family."
"Why did you go through all of that trouble for me?" She asked.
           "Because it made you smile."
She smiled and then kissed him. She could hear the gasps of the group at the table. She pulled away and closed her eyes.
"I just blew our secret, didn't I?" She asked quietly.
           "About fucking time." John yelled.
Everyone cheered after that and Scarlett blushed as she leaned her forehead on his chest. She pulled away and turned around. Tommy usually wouldn't show affection out in public, but he saw her smile and didn't care. She was standing in front of him and he put one arm over her shoulder and she held onto it. In his other hand, he was smoking a cigarette in typical Tommy Shelby fashion. Arthur walked back over and Wesley was standing talking to Liam and Lane at the bar. Arthur stood in front of Tommy and Scarlett. He smirked and then pointed.
          "Fucking finally."
"A toast. A toast to Scarlett reuniting with her brother and to new love!" Polly said as she held her glass.
Wesley walked back over and held up his glass with everyone. Scarlett smiled as she watched her brother interact with the people that made her feel like part of a family. Him and Ada were standing close to each other as they talked.
"Are you happy?" Tommy whispered in her ear.
She shook her head and leaned it back on him.
"Nothing could ruin this." She whispered back and then he kissed her cheek.
Just then two grenades rolled through the doors and hit the bar. Another one was thrown in from the left side of the bar. Scarlett saw her brother grab and shield Ada from it. Scarlett started towards her brother, but Tommy pulled her back just as it went off. It's like everything was happening in slow motion. Another two rolled in from the back door and went off seconds after the first few. That one was closer to Tommy and Scarlett. It blew them away, literally. Scarlett woke up with ringing in her ears. She was laying flat on her back. She instantly thought of Tommy. She heard screaming and crying and watched the fire set in around the pub. She looked down and saw a piece of glass in her leg and she groaned. Slowly Scarlett made it to her knees. She looked around the smoke and fire and yelled for Tommy. She saw bodies everywhere and people trying to get out. Everyone had black on their face from the smoke along with cuts, blood, and bruises. She came to her feet and started to turn her head, but the pain hit. She stumbled over to a group of people in the corner. It was Polly, Michael, John, Esme, and Arthur. They were yelling something at Scarlett, but she couldn't hear them at first. Arthur then grabbed her by the shoulders and yelled. Her eyes widened and the adrenaline hit as she came out of her trance.
"Are you okay?" Arthur was yelling.
          "Where's Tommy?" She said.
A piece of the ceiling fell right beside the two. Arthur turned to look at half the group.
"We need to get out of here." He yelled to them as he pointed towards the door.
They all helped each other out, but Scarlett wasn't leaving. She turned around to start walking away, but Arthur pulled her back.
"Scarlett we need to get out before it falls all around us."
"I'm not leaving without him." She said loudly.
She turned around and took a step forward and another big piece of the ceiling fell in front of her as it was on fire.
"Scarlett! It's going to collapse." Arthur screamed.
She turned around.
"I will not walk out of here without him and if it collapses on us and goes up in flames then so be it." She yelled and then disappeared into the smoke.
She was yelling Tommy's name and then she saw a pack of cigarettes.
"Thank God for cigarettes." She mumbled.
She limped over and saw him laying there. He was just waking up. She kneeled down to him and grabbed his face.
"Tommy. Tommy get up. We have to get out before it collapses." She said.
He was still groggy, but started to sit up. She helped him to his feet and put his arm around her shoulder. They slowly started hobbling out of the pub as pieces of ceiling fell and more of the wood caught on fire. They had just made it out of the door as the whole place went up in flames. The two turned around to face the burning pub. Scarlett looked at Tommy.
"Find peace in the flames, Tom....because it could be us that burn next."
