About a week went by and the wedding was drawing closer and closer. Scarlett didn't sleep at all and got up to soak in the bath. She got out and got dressed. Today marked three years since Hunter was killed. Today was supposed to be her wedding day. She took a deep breath and walked down stairs and took a shot of whiskey. She nodded and walked to the office. She walked in and her face immediately dropped as she saw all of the gowns. Grace was standing there trying on wedding dresses. She looked up at Scarlett and smiled.
"What do you think of this one, Scarlett?" She asked.
The dress almost looked just like the one Scarlett had. Scarlett could not speak.
"Well? Would Tommy like this one?" Grace asked.
Scarlett looked like she was broken as she stared at Grace.
"Look at her! She's speechless!" Grace yelled.
Scarlett turned around and bolted out of the door. Tommy and Polly were coming in and she pushed right past them. Polly and Tommy looked at Grace and then each other. Scarlett went down an alley and threw up. Tommy and Poll found her and he was about to walk down, but Polly stopped him. She walked down to make sure Scarlett was okay. Scarlett was bent down with her hand on her head. She shook her head.
"How did she know? How did she..." Scarlett trailed off.
Polly rubbed her back.
"Know what?" Polly asked.
"How did she know today was the day I was supposed to get married. Three years ago today, Hunter died....and the dress...it was almost identical to mine.."
"How...." She trailed off.
Polly gave her a sad look and put her hair behind her shoulders. Polly pulled out a flask and slipped it to Scarlett. She took a long drink. Scarlett took a deep breath and stood up.
"Come on. There's work to do." Scarlett said as she crutched off.
She got to Tommy and didn't even look up. He turned around and watched her walk away. Polly walked up to him and he looked at her.
"Well is she okay?"
"Three years ago today was supposed to be her wedding." Polly said.
Tommy put his hand on his face and rubbed his temples.
"And Grace is in there in a dress identical to Scarlett's. Why is she here, Thomas? Seriously. This is just cruel." Polly scolded.
Tommy sighed and followed Polly into the office. Scarlett was about to walk in her office until Grace started to speak again. She was still wearing the same, beautiful dress. It was a form fitting, lace dress with skinny straps.
"What do you think, Tommy?" Grace asked.
He looked up and all he could see was Scarlett in that dress. He glanced over at Scarlett who was looking at him, waiting on the response.
"I think it looks like a dress a whore would wear." Grace smirked.
"If the shoe fits." Scarlett said.
She walked into her office and closed the door. She sat her desk and crossed her arms and laid her head down. A few minutes later Tommy walked in and closed the door. Without looking up she said something.
"What Tommy?"
"How did you know it was me?"
She slowly looked up at him sitting in the chair.
"Because you're always putting out the fires that she starts."
He just stared at her. She leaned back in her chair and threw a hand up.
"What did you come in here for?" She asked.
"Can you go to London to meet Ada? She will explain more when you get there."
"I don't see why not." She said as she stared at her desk.
"Very well. Here you can take my car." He said as he sat the keys down.
"I have my own car."
"They just filled mine with oil, so you can take it." He persisted.
She gave him a weird look and stood up. She walked out of her office and he followed. Polly and Tommy shared a look as he walked Scarlett out. He watched her drive off and then Polly walked out.
"She'll be mad you didn't tell her."
"It's better she doesn't know, so she can't get hurt."
"And letting her drive your car?" Polly asked.
"So they think I'm not here." He said as he walked back inside.

Scarlett arrived in London a little later and made it to Ada's house. She knocked on the door and Ada let her in. They went into the living room and Ada brought out tea.
"Thank you." Scarlett said as she was handed a cup.
"So what business am I here to talk about?"
Ada took a sip and looked at Scarlett.
"No business." Ada said.
"But Tommy sent me—"
"Tommy sent you to take the day off. He knew you wouldn't have come if you knew, so."
"I don't need a day off. I needed to keep busy today...of all days." Scarlett said.
Ada smiled while she sipped her tea.
"Oh no. I know that look. All you Shelby's have it. What have you gotten us into?"
"We are going to the Eden club tonight. My maid, Sarah is watching Karl while we go." Ada said.
"Not my scene, Ada. No way I'm going."
"Come on. What better way to forget about today than drinking and dancing?!"
"I don't dance." Scarlett said.
"You don't have to. Let's just get dressed up and go drink. I need a girls night and you need to get the stick out if your ass!!"
Scarlett sighed and glared at Ada.
"Fine." She said with a small smile.
Ada screamed.
"Yay!! I mean what's the worst that could happen tonight?!" Ada exclaimed.
Scarlett laughed.
              "Don't speak too soon."
"Okay but what the hell are we going to wear?" Scarlett asked Ada.
Ada jumped up and ran out of the room. She ran back with two dresses. One was a short, silver, sequin dress and the other was a short, black, beaded dress with a little fringe at the bottom. Scarlett smirked.
"I call the black one." She said.
"I figured." Ada smiled.
The day went on and girls actually relaxed and just talked. Night fell and they were ready to paint the town red. Scarlett walked out in her dress and Ada squealed.
"Look at those legs!"
Scarlett smiled and made a fake pose that made Ada laugh.
"What are you going to do with the crutches?"
"Fuck em." Scarlett said as she threw them down.
Ada laughed and then brought Sarah in there to take the two girls picture. They both smiled and then they were off. The two girls walked into the club and there were people everywhere, drinking, dancing, and doing drugs. Scarlett looked at Ada.
"We need drinks." She yelled over the loud music.
They went and got a bottle of whiskey and walked over to a booth and sat down. They talked for a while as a man stared Ada down.
"That man keeps looking at you." Scarlett said as she nodded towards him.
"And now he's coming over here." She added.
"Would you like to dance, beautiful?" He asked Ada.
Ada looked at Scarlett and blushed. She took his hand and followed him out to the dance floor. Ada looked back at Scarlett who smiled and winked at her. Scarlett watched Ada and the man smile and dance while she finished the whiskey. She got up and started to walk to the bar until a man grabbed her arm. She turned to look at him and tried to pull her arm away, but he held on tight.
"Would you like to dance?" He asked.
"Does it look like I want to dance?" She hissed.
"Oh come on baby. You're real lucky if you get to dance with me." He said as he got closer.
Scarlett rolled her eyes and tried to walk away, but he grabbed her butt. She elbowed him right in the face, making his nose bleed.
"And you're real lucky if I don't kill you." She yelled.
He held his bloody nose and looked up at her.
"Oh you just messed with the wrong man."
She got another bottle of whiskey and turned to look at him.
"I don't see a man from where I'm standing." She said and then walked away.
"I'm Darby fucking Sabini!" He screamed.
Scarlett held up the bottle as she walked back, but someone else caught her before she sat down.
"Ms. America. Now I would know that body anywhere." Tatiana smirked.
"Drink?" Scarlett asked her as they sat down.
She poured two drinks.
"You know you just gave the club owner a bloody nose right?" Tatiana said.
"The club owner should learn some manners."
Tatiana raised her eyebrow and Scarlett downed her drink.
"So what are you doing here?" Scarlett asked.
"Oh I come here to hunt. I see weak men, so I take them home and make them feel bad about themselves."
Scarlett smirked and pointed at Tatiana.
"I like you."
Tatiana smirked.
"And I like you. Maybe for different reasons."
Scarlett raised her eyebrows and then Tatiana laughed.
"Is women what you like?" Scarlett asked.
"I like everything. Whatever feels good."
Scarlett smirked and nodded.
"Why are you here? I thought you were Mr. Shelby's right hand?" Tatiana asked.
"He gave me the day off."
Tatiana gave a confused look.
"Why would he give you the day off when he is killing the priest tonight?"
Scarlett's eyes grew wide.
"He didn't tell you?
              "I guess not."
"The priest is probably dead by now anyway." Tatiana said.
Scarlett stood up and scanned the room for Ada. She started to walk away, but Tatiana grabbed her arm and whispered in her ear.
"If you ever want to feel good...you know where I live." She whispered in Russian.
Her and Scarlett locked eyes and then Tatiana walked away.
