You wake up to a small nudge in your arm. "hey, y/n we're here" tsukki says. his voice is lower than usual, he must've been really comfortable and deep in sleep in your lap. you yawn and rub your eyes. "what time is it" you say
"almost 6" he replies. "i asked coach if it was okay for you to come over and he said it was fine"
your eyes light up, "oh my gosh bet". you grab your stuff from the seat beside you and tsukki and follow him off the bus. "my mom is gonna pick us up, is that okay?" he asks. "of course". you reply, he then pulls out his phone and sends a text to what you're guessing is his mom because not more than 10 minutes later you see a dark van pull up. "she's here" he says and offers to grab your bag. "wait" you stop him, "what if she doesn't like me" you think out loud.
"ur an idiot get in the car" he says chuckling
"but-" you say but before you can finish your thought tsukki grabs your bag and walks you to the car. "hi!! its so nice to meet you im y/n" you say as you hop in the car. You see a guy with the same dirty blonde hair as tsukki sitting in the front seat which you guess is his brother. "oh YOU'RE y/n ?! Makes sense you're so pretty!! Hi im tsukkis mom" she says with a warm smile. "oh you already know me? have we met before?" you ask puzzled. Just then tsukki gets in the car on the opposite side. "mom-" tsukki starts but his mom interrupts. "oh no dear we haven't but tsukki talks about you all the time! whenever he does my hair we always have a chat and you've been brought up plenty of times, and now i can see why! i saw you on tv earlier and you were just-"
"MOM PLEASE YOURE KILLING ME" he says in embarrassment. you giggle and lightly hit him. "oh we are SO having a girl talk later Ms. Kei" you say with a light blush. Tsukki flashes a daring look at you but you brush it off. His mom rolls her eyes at tsukki but winks at you in the mirror and nods. She starts the car and off you guys go. "oh and im guessing you're his brother?" you ask.
"oh yeah that's me, nice to meet you" he turns around and smiles. you smile back and turn to tsukki. He pulls out his phone and doesn't say a word. A few seconds later your phone buzzes.
𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙮𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙢𝙖: 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗠𝗔𝗢
𝙮/𝙣: 𝙞𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙩-
but then you swipe your forehead and realize you have been sweating a little.
𝙮/𝙣: 𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙪𝙩-
tsukki looks up from his phone and grins at you. Your heart starts beating faster everytime you see his smile.
𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙮𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙢𝙖: 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁
𝙮/𝙣: 𝙞- 𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣
just then the car stops. Tsukki shoots a look at you, nods and then runs as fast as he can to the front door. You just match his pace and run with him.
"TSUKKI NOT AGAIN-" his brother yells.
"AHHH I CANT HEAR U" he yells back and runs with you all the way inside up to his room. As you follow him to his bedroom you both plop onto his bed. Catching your breath you ask "what- why did we have to run".
panting tsukki replies, "whoever is last has to carry the bags and that was not gonna be me" you laugh and lightly hit him. He jokingly rubs his arm and says "ow that hurttt" you giggle and lean in to kiss the part of his arm that you hit. He stops for a second, with both of your faces inches apart, and leans in to kiss you. You close your eyes and get ready for the kiss. His lips embrace yours as he passionately leans in. You quickly become flustered and pull away as he chuckles and leans in again. After a few minutes Tsukki pulls away, blushing he tries to change the topic. "uh do- well- that was- uhm the weathers really nice huh?" he stutters. You giggle as you feel happier than ever before. You glance around the room and see a picture of tsukki as a child. Your eyes immediately light up as you gasp. "IS THAT YOU AWWW" you say standing up from his bed to take a closer look.
"WAIT-"
The picture is tsukki on a tricycle, his glasses a little too big for his face, and he's midway down a hill. "YOU LOOK SO CUTEEEE" you say pouting
"STOPPP I DIDNT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO-"
"oh shut up!" you laugh and hold the picture in your hands; adoring it
Tsukki's mom bursts into the room "Y/n can I talk to you?" she says in a hurry as she pulls you out of the room
"uh- oh sure?" you say as tsukki tries to interuppt but gets dismissed by the door in his face
"okay come to my room hurry!!!"
you just follow her lead to her room, as a pile of pictures sit on her bed.
"i was eavesdropping a little and heard you liked that picture of tsukki so i gathered a bunch more for you!" she beams with excitement. Your face instantly lights up again as you let out a breath you didnt know you were holding.
She shows you a photobook full of baby tsukki pictures all the way up to recent pictures, even one from the game tonight. As you look through it she gets behind you and starts styling your hair like hers, (a long braid pulled into a bun), and she describes each picture.
After about 30 minutes of this bonding time you're comfortably laughing with his mom as tsukki tries to look for you. Your ears perk up when you hear him yell "Y/N?? MOM ?? WHERE DID YOU TWO GO?!!!"
you turn to look at tsukki's mom as she yells "RUN!" you two giggle and run across the 2nd floor back to Tsukkishima's room. He hears your laugh along with his moms as you two place yourselves on his bed. You cross your legs as tsukki dashes up the stairs.
"A-HA!" he yells, seeing you sitting on his bed
"tsukki where were you? ive been waiting here for like 30 minutes" you say trying not to laugh
"wow tsukkishima, leaving your girlfriend like that? i had to keep her company while you were gone" she says with a huge grin on her face
"I WAS IN HERE- WAITING FOR- OGJSHSB NO DONT TRY TO-" he stutters chuckling
you two burst out laughing as tsukki joins in. he notices your hair and stops. "woah even though you have a big head that suits you well" he smiles
"is that an insult or a compliment-" his mom glares at him with a smile
"a compliment i guess" he rolls his eyes grinning
The rest of the night is full of laughs and getting to know eachother better. You feel comfortable in this house, loved, even though this is your first time meeting his family you fit right in. His mom drives you home as you hum to the songs on the radio. The rest of your days are filled with laughter and light, occasional arguments but nothing the two of you can't make up for.
