Sapnap's POV
"Do we have a plan yet or do we need to make one up?" Bad asked after their decleration of victory. "Uh, first we need to take care of George's body." Sapnap replied with a bit of confusion. Bad stared at the dark sky behind Sapnap, lost in thought. The stood in cold silence for maybe a minute until Bad broke the ice, snapping out of his gaze. "Is there some way we can perserve the body?" He calmly requested the knowledge. Sapnap was rather confused on why they can't just bury him like they would normally do. He thought hard about spells to possibly answer the question. A sudden thought hit him. "Yeah, I think there is." He finally replied. Bad sighed in relief and smiled. The literal bright smile gave Sapnap lots of determination. "I don't know exactly how to do it but, in my kingdom there's a story about a library that holds all the master spells and endless knowledge." He continued. Bad's face glowed brighter with realization. "So surely there has to be a spell on how to revive people!" He excitedly announced. "Bingo." Sapnap smiled, he regained every ounce of fight left in him. For George and everyone else who is suffering because of The Darkness.
Dream's POV
"Helloooooooooo, mister all mighty Darkness!" Dream called from the barren canyon he was still walking in. A sudden black smoke drifted near. Dream eerily smiled as he was going to get what he wanted. The black ash cloud swallowed him whole. "What is it you seek..." An ominious and scratchy voice called from all around. "Wanna team up or something?" Dream offered with another creppy, narrow eyed smiled. "Hmmm, I sense immense power from you and also...hatred and a devilish flair...if it is destruction you seek, I accept your kind offer." The voice called. "What are you called?" The voice asked. Dream replied with no care in the world, "Just call me Chaos."
??? POV
The boy stared down at his body, consulting with The Darkness. Tears streamed down his face as he imagined all the horrible things he would do. Dream was a spirit, disconnected from his body. It was ripped away from his mortal self by the chaos.
That isn't me...
He sat in the milk tinted sky above his body. He placed his masked face in his palms, not knowing what to do next. Dream was in some sort of mix between heaven and life it was the same surrounding of life but milky and heaven like, he was invisible to all living creatures and didn't know how to escape. He was also trying to deal with the insane guilt that was festering up inside. "Dream?" A familiar voice called from behind. The soft and confused voice shattered Dream's heart. But there was no way it was real, right? It couldn't be...he was just hearing things? "Is it really you?" The voice asked again. Dream finally lifted his head and looked behind over his shoulder. He expected nothing to be there but still clung onto that hope it was really him. He couldn't believe the figure standing a couple feet away with a confused and worried expression. His face softened into relief as he ran to Dream with a big smile. Dream was too shocked to do anything, he stood up but went unmoving. The chocolate haired boy held onto Dream and began crying. The moment he felt tears hit his hand, Dream knew it was real. He grabbed the figure like there was no tomorrow. "George." He choked out with a smile and tears. George pulled his head up to meet Dream's face. "Hey Dream." He smiled, his face still wet with tears. This was the real George. Dream stroked the soft hair and pulled it close. "How are you here?" Dream asked, suddenly wondering. George nuzzled his head into Dream's chest and replied, "The same way you did, The Darkness pushed my real spirit out of my body and into here." His voice was a bit muffled by the sweater. Pain suddenly struck Dream as he remembered what he had done. He swiftly tore away from the hug and George stumbled forward a bit. "Why do you still like me, I killed you." He spat with his back turned. George's face was painted with shock. "It's because," "Because you want me to feel better despite the horrible person I am! You are too nice George!" Dream angrily cut off.
Why is George refusing to hate me, he has to...I'll just hurt him more
"Let me finish!" George roared. Dream was shocked at how much anger was seeping into the command. He had never thought George could get this mad. "You are not a horrible person, that thing controlling your body wasn't you! That thing killed me, not you!" He yelled. Dream could hear the tears still falling onto the floor. He turned around to look at George. His face was red with tears and anger, his hands balled into fists. Dream was starting to think George was right. George calmed down a bit and faced the side "I will admit seeing my body bleeding like that was pretty disturbing but, it wasn't you." He sighed. Maybe lashing out at George wasn't the best idea. "I...I'm sorry." He apologized with more tears flowing out from under his mask. "Don't you dare apologize to me!" George sprang forward and latched onto Dream. His anger dissipated as he hugged Dream. Dream didn't know how to react, but he didn't want to anger George further. He hugged back. They both cried in their embrace for a minute. He loved George but won't let them get that close, he had to distance and keep them as just friends so the next time he loses control, George won't hurt as much. He reluctantly pulled away from the hug. "We have to find out a way to get back." He declared. "Yeah, but I think we may be able to help Sapnap and Bad from here." George theorized. "Really!? How?" Dream asked back in shock. George shot a small blue beam at a pebble and barely lifted it off the ground. He smiled in satisfactory. "Like that."
Bad's POV
He and Sapnap where flying above the trees but under the clouds. Sapnap was carrying George and said they needed to find a lava river that might be close by. A red light stuck out like a sore thumb from the black around it. "Hey, there it is! A lava river!" Bad cheered as he started descending. "Bad stop!" Sapnap shouted, making Bad halt in the air. "The river is guarded by my fellow people. We have to sneak around them." He explained, his wings still flapping and George still in his arms. "Why? Aren't you like the prince of one of the sub kingdoms?" Bad questioned. "I don't think they'll be very happy when they find me covered in blood and holding a dead body." Sapnap sighed, making the same expression as he would for a face palm. This was an obvious issue. "Um then how are we going to get near?" He asked yet again. "I'll start a small fire to distract the guards, most of The River Guards are super dense for some reason." Sapnap explained as he scanned the terrain. The Darkness hasn't killed this part of the forest yet so there was plenty of greenery to burn. "Okay let's do this, we have to be fast." Just as Sapnap said that sentence a red bubble formed around Bad. He panicked a little. Sapnap shot a beam at a tree and dove downwards, pulling Bad with him at incredible speed. "WHY ARE WE DIVING INTO THE LAVA!?" Bad cried as his trajectory was aimed straight to the sizzling red liquid. Sapnap didn't reply and shot a bubble around himself.
What are you doing Sapnap...
