Bad POVIt was late afternoon when Fushimizu, Sapnap, and Bad waved goodbye to Demetria and where on their way. The blue pen and worn out paper followed close behind. "Thank god I'm in my normal clothes again." The Flame Master sighed in relief while the other two giggled in response. They had some pretty boring conversations as they strolled away from the Mixed Magic Academy and to the Volcano Castle. "Hey Sapnap, You're going home!" Bad realized with a gasp. Sapnap was a prince from the main lineage, sure he was a while away from becoming king, no thanks to two his older brothers, but he was still a possible heir to the throne. "I can't wait to see the looks on my brothers' faces when they see me back." Sapnap smirked, looking like he was imagining the scene.
I wonder if they have some type of bad blood with each other???
The dim city, only lit by long flows of lava, led to the entrance guarded by a giant gate and two guards on each end. Sapnap clapped his hands together with a small burst of flames, he pulled them apart to reveal a shiny crown that he placed on his head. Once the group closed in the guards instantly recognized Sapnap. "Prince Nicholas, you have returned." One guard exasperated while bowing. "I have returned to speak to my father. Allow me inside to deal with this urgent emergency." He neatly ordered, eyes narrow and face stern. "Please step right in, your Royal Highness." He said. As if on command, the gate retracted and Sapnap delicately glided through like it was nobody's business. The other followed close behind.
"Prince Nicholas." Fushimizu quietly snickered. He was awe struck at the beautiful, golden palace. The pretty red carpet, fancy guards, humongous portraits, tapestry, gold lines of intricate detail, tall roof, and the gleaming chandeliers complimenting the royal theme.
This is just reception!?
They went through a golden double door into the throne hall. Bad didn't even want to describe how fancy this whole building was. Sapnap knelt down in front of the king. His face was stern and unsympathetic. Bad knelt down with Fushimizu and Sapnap in honor of the king. Bad was afraid the king was more of a king than a dad to his friend. While looking down to the floor Bad heard Sapnap laughing and a deep royal voice. "Son! I'm so glad you're home!" He bellowed while rubbing the black hair. He turned to Fushimizu and bowed her. "Amazing to see you again, Zetsumei." He smiled while standing back up. She curtly bowed back, laughing. The king finally turned back to Sapnap. "Who are your new friends?" He questioned while fondly looking at the office supplies and Bad. "H-hello sir." Bad stuttered while bowing. "Hello boy, may I ask what your name is?" He greeted kindly. "My name is Prince BadBoyHalo of the Light Kingdom but I go by Bad. It is such an honor to meet you." He said respectfully. "Oh the pleasure is all mine, I'm so glad to meet one of my son's new friends, I'm King Joseph." King Joseph smiled. Bad's worry dissolved into happiness. He was a good king and father. "Now, let's address the pen and paper in the room." He stated. The pen glided across the paper to form words. 'The pen is Prince George, the paper is Prince Clay. We are stuck between life and death somehow, this is our only form of communication to the living world.' The paper swiftly wrote out. King Joseph's eyes widened in surprise. "I see. I believe you have encountered The Darkness." The king frowned. He hauled his body upwards. "I think I know why you all are here now." He stated with a serious expression. "Yeah, we've come for the book." Sapnap sighed with a dead pan facial expression. Fushimizu's gazed shifted sideways, the pen and paper floated with unease. Would the King say no!? "Prince Clay. Where have I heard that name before?" He questioned suddenly. Everyone moved their wide eyes up in surprise. "Prince Clay of the War Kingdom!" He shouted. King Joseph stared at the paper. "Are you really the Chaos Lord?" He asked with a child's awe struck face. The supplies wrote out 'yes'. The king snapped back to his royal stance. "Alright. Follow me, I will take you to the book." The king quickly ordered with a swish of his cape. A darkish arm pulled a level down. The long draped flag pulled over to reveal a small passageway. It's walls where lined with cobblestone and cracked stone stairs leading down into darkness. The Masters followed in shock induced silence down the ridged steps.
The dim room was only lit with the small stream of lava, oozing out from the roof. The wall where lined with dusty stone shelves and years old books. "Wow." Bad breathed out as he took in the surroundings. King Joseph scanned each book with his finger then pulled out a rustic red book. It was dusty. "If Prince Clay is our last hope, so be it." The king declared as he opened the book. He neatly sat on the floor, the book placed in front. "Sit in a circle, Prince Clay and George, sit in the middle." He instructed as all participants followed orders. It would be a bad idea to deny a king's order. Bad was awed and felt a presence in front of him in the circle. "Oh mighty Lava Lord, bring us the power to resurrect our fallen allies!" He boomed. Suddenly, a red beam shot from the roof and exploded on contact with the ground. Bad was propelled away by the explosion. He shielded his face and hit the shelf behind him. "Ouch." He muttered as he opened an eye and rubbed his head. Two figures stood out in the smoke. One was tall with a masculine outline while the other was shorter with a slim outline. Bad felt the biggest smile creep onto his face. George and Dream are back.(ACK A MONTH!? I'm happy to say this story is NOT discontinued! I'm on a writing spree again and I promise to make up for lost time! I love all of you for still sticking around, have a great day/night ❤️)
