Chapter 10: Beginnings of Minecon

Dream was woken up from his amazing dream by a blaring alarm.

Why did I set it to full volume

He felt very warm and remembered that George snuggled his arm last night. To his surprise he was full on spooning George who groaned with tiredness. He quickly let go and blush hard. Dream heard Sapnap walking into the main room from the bathroom. "Shhh you might wake him up." He teased. Suddenly Dream heard George whisper "Your so brilliant, Dream."

WAS HE SLEEP TALKING?!

Instantly, Dream quietly moved off the bed, making sure not to wake George up. He grabbed his green hoodie, black jeans, and a pair of socks then walked off to change. He hummed a random song while changing out of his night clothes to his day clothes. Dream wore the green hoodie mainly because his fan base loves to think his humanized Minecraft skin had a green hoodie and a pair of dark jeans and just because he loved hoodies and green. The little blob was still seated on the hoodie's shoulder. It was very cute. He left the room to meet up with Sapnap and George. Once Dream stepped into the main room he heard George say "Good morning Dream!" It was so cute...the sleepiness in his voice made it much more adorable. "Good morning George" Dream smiled back, blushing. "Now that your finally awake I just wanted to to say...Dream was spooning George all night." They both turned their heads to Sapnap. George replied "I know." and blushed a bit. There was passion and affection in his eyes.

Does that means he likes me back?

Dream began to panic a bit but then laughed for a little about it then George left to change, leaving Sapnap and Dream alone. "Why did you tell him that?" Dream genuinely asked. "He needed to know. I'm a master matchmaker so I must know what he needs to realize that he likes you." Sapnap answered. "How many couples have you gotten together?" Dream wanted to know how good Sapnap was at matchmaking. "I helped two marriages, five couples, and three saves. I got my two older siblings get married with their lover, helped my friends, and saved a few from breaking up." He answered.

He really is good...

George bursted into the room, scaring Sapnap and Dream. "Let's please go eat breakfast!" He yelled. "Oh my god alright!" Sapnap laughed after overcoming the sudden shock. They all put on their shoes and walked down to the breakfast room. Dream ordered pancakes, Sapnap got waffles, and George wanted French toast. They munched down on their meals and walked down to the local convention center. The group joked and laughed so much they didn't notice some people pointing at them in awe, I mean they are popular YouTubers.

When Dream reached the door he noticed a sign that said 'YouTuber Guest Room' with an arrow pointing to a separate entrance. "Guys we should go to that line over there." He pointed to a line with around five people getting checked off a list. "Oh ho were V.I.P now." George smiled. They made their way over into the line and was asked by a guard their full name and their YouTube channel. Dream got entered first, then George, then Sapnap. When Dream stepped into the room it was a dark colored room full of chairs, couches, and tables occupied by people. He instantly noticed Bad sitting with the blue boy he ran off with and another boy with ruffled dark hair and a band over some of his face. Dream waited for the others and walked over to say hi. On the way he saw Purpled, DanTDM, and...TECHNOBLADE?! He was also a popular Minecraft YouTuber. Dream avoided him at all costs. They made it to Bad and Sapnap greeted "Hi Bad." Bad stopped his conversation and looked back at the origin of the noise. He gasped then said "You silly muffins! Why are you guys here?" "Apparently we're all popular Minecraft YouTubers." George laughed. They talked with Skeppy and a6d about stupid things like which Minecraft cat has the best texture until a tall man with red dyed hair who introduced himself as Chris Waterhood. He was the event organizer. "So for our Minecraft YouTuber exhibition I would like to suggest a skit. It must be kid friendly and fun!" He announced happily. "You will have a thirty minute show on our main stage. The show will start at 12:30 PM be there by 12:10 for preparations." Mr. Chris added. He smiled then walked out the room. "I think we should do a very random and funny skit." Wilbursoot suggested. "How about we might do stuff from our most popular or funny videos?" Skeppy questioned. "What about something like one of us has an introduction page to read then something happens and they stop it mid way through." DanTDM put out. Everyone agreed on both suggestions and started thinking of who reads the introduction so they can plan out specific details.

After lots more planning they had a skit ready to go. Skeppy would slowly read aloud a long written introduction then Sapnap and George would run onto stage laughing as Dream yells chasing them "CO'MERE GEORGE!" Copying a Minecraft Manhunt situation. Bad follows behind them yelling "Sapnap you muffin! Give me my sword back!" Skeppy then drops the page and follows Bad calling, "Bad calm down!" They all run off stage as Technoblade reads the rest of the introduction. Then Purpled comes out pushing DanTDM in a blue minecart talking about Bedwars strategies oblivious to the fact they went out to the main stage. Their conversation would stop as DanTDM awkwardly waves at the crowd and then they rush off stage. The Mii Theme song starts playing as Purpled jumps onto a blocky pillow on the stage from a platform then is introduced by Bad who skips onto the stage "The Bedwars master, Purpled!" He announces as Purpled runs backwards off the stage, waving and smiling at the audience. Next comes DanTDM waving while running with his minecart and jumps into once it got enough momentum and slide off stage. More YouTubers get introduced by an energetic Bad making bad puns on purpose and then we all line up on stage and call "Muffin King BadBoyHalo!" As he stood in the center shocked. He smiled and cheered "We are the Minecraft YouTubers of 2020!" Then they all did a Q and A from the audience and walk off the stage waving to their fans for the final time.

The skit went down and was epic. The fans cheered loudly for each Youtuber as they entered the stage and an uproar of laughter at Dream's chase. It was Dream's turn for a fan question. He chose a girl with Dream merchandise. "What is your opinion on the Dream fan base, like the fan fictions and animations?" Dream answered "I love them! I'm so happy I have talented fans and people who like what I do." He smiled. He chose on a tall boy with a bright yellow shirt. "Why is your mask cracked?" "Let's just say George didn't spare me went we had our last Manhunt." He laughed. "One more question." He announced. Each person got three questions. "Will you do future collabs with Sapnap and GeorgeNotFound?" A short boy with a blue Steve shirt asked. "Well...Of course, I mean they are basically my new best friends!" The crowd cheered. The other YouTubers went and the skit ended.

Everyone returned back to the room and Dream decided he should apologize for what had happened. "Hey Technoblade, I'm sorry about what I did during our class dual." He apologized. Technoblade looked at him and muttered "It's fine." Then he walked off.

George POV

"What's their problem?" Purpled asked George. "They had a class fight and Dream felt bad about it." George answered knowing he can't tell Purpled the full story. He gasped and asked "Are they alright?" "Yeah...they both had fully recovered their injuries." George sighed.

Dream why do you have to get hurt...I don't like seeing you in pain

"Did Dream use a power move and felt bad about it?" Purpled asked. George was shocked. How did Purpled know about power moves!? "I know that standard dual rules are no power moves." Purpled added on. "How did you know?" George asked, wide eyed. "I'm from the Light Kingdom in the Rainbow Division." He replied smiling. "Oh I'm from the main Furture Kingdom." George said laughing. "What is Dream's power?" Purpled asked. "It's a touchy topic for him but his power is Chaos." George sighed. "That's why it's a touchy topic." Purpled realized. "Dream probably think that people would hate and judge him based on his power. Lots of people in my kingdom don't like most lords from the War kingdom because they believe they are evil beings." He added.

Oh my lord...now it makes more sense!

"It's just not right judging people based on their power." Purpled said. "Yeah." George agreed. Dream wasn't evil...his Dream could never be evil...

I would never fall for someone evil, no matter how good looking they might be...my Dream will always be caring and kind. No matter what.

(Haha...help me I started writing at 2:30 AM and published it at 6:28. I'm so tired but it was worth it! I hope you enjoyed this chapter!! Where going to have an action arc after Minecon >:) )
