Chapter 2: First Class

Dashing through the dark and old halls, speed walking next to teachers, Dream quickly made his way to his class. The classroom was very dim and small. It had normal desks like the kind you see in a regular school on the human side of this world. He picked an open seat next to a shady looking guy with a red and black hoodie with horns and a huge glowing halo, his face unseen. The guy looked rather strange because his black skin was glowing white. Dream regretfully sat in the seat next to the shady guy, as it was the only seat left in the classroom. "Oh thank god I'm not late. These grades won't raise heir own as-"
"Language you silly muffin!" Dream was cut off my a loud whisper. The young sounding voice came from the scary boy sitting next to him. "Uh. Um okay sorry." Dream quietly apologized, a bit confused.
"I'm Bad." The boy whispered like a child in a candy store. When his face became visible, Dream saw that all his facial features were white. Everything on his body glowed.
"You're what?" Dream asked clearly confused.
"My name is BadBoyHalo." He laughed to himself, only loud enough for Dream to hear and stuck out his hand. "Oh." He said, dumbfounded. He returned the gesture. "I'm Dream."

     Class was boring so Dream and Bad talked for a little bit during a lecture and the unwanted question popped up. "What's your power? I'm the Lord of Light. That's kinda why I glow."

Oh no...the light kingdom line hates mine...worst matchup. He's going to hate me...

      "I'm the Lord of Chaos...". Dream nervously swallowed waiting for a reply. "Oh really. I never thought I'd ever meet the Chaos Lord or even see him in person. But look at me now friends with the almighty Chaos Lord!" Bad whisper shouted. "Woah woah, don't call me almighty!" Dream faked whined. He started to blush from embarrassment. Bad had genuine awe in his eyes.

Thank the mask...

     "Really though Bad, please treat me like a normal student, it's all I want. Sure the power hierarchy thing is cool but I don't put myself above anyone else." Dream smiled looking down at his paper, his test was easy and the lunch bell was about to ring.
