Chapter 27: The Jounery Continues...But Not Without a Slight Delay

Bad POV

"I CAN FEEL STUFF!" A familiar voice yelled with a British accent. The ash brown smoke finally cleared away. "Oh my gosh!" Bad breathed, exasperated. He shot up and ran to his friends. "Ah!" George shriek as Bad came up from behind and rapped his arms around them. "George! You're alright!" Sapnap fondly yelled from the side, tears welling up in his charcoal colored eyes. He joined the group hug. "I missed you all too." Dream smiled as he squeezed the group harder. "Ack, Dream, you're squeezing me too hard! I'm gonna blow a blood vessel!" Sapnap complained with a small attempt to free himself. "Okay okay, sorry Sapnap." Dream chuckled as he let go of his friends. He quickly turned to the king. "Ah, hello King Joseph. I am forever grateful for your help." He formally bowed. "No need for the formality, I am not just a King but an ally to you and your friends." The king warmly smiled. "I mean to not be disrespectful but I believe we should get going, the Darkness just keeps tearing up more land and killing more people." Fushimizu suggested from the back of the room. "You never change, do you." Sapnap sighed with a smile. "I believe Fushimizu is correct." The king sternly commented. "You must go and save innocent lives, like the heroes you all are meant to be." He proudly stated. "I promise we won't let you down." Dream vowed solemnly. Fushimizu quickly moved up the stairs, the rest of the group following close behind.

Dream POV

Wow. I just got resurrected-from the half dead. That's really cool but weird at the same time.
Dream steadily made his way up the stairs, almost forgetting how to walk due to floating and sitting for several days. The group halted in front of a boy who looked related to Sapnap. "Awwwwe little Nicky twying to save the day and found some fwiends." The sibling mocked. He had short brown hair wearing royal attire and a crown. "Ha good luck loser." He jeered. The rest of the group uncomfortably shifted and fidgeted in doubt. Dream couldn't take his friend being bullied by his brothers. "Watch this." He roughly muttered as he pushed to the front. Dream loomed over the boy with a darkly ominous gaze.

Brother's POV

The nightmarish figure loomed over me
Where did he come from!?
The small dots on his creepy mask seemed to eat away at my soul. The shade covering his afce was terrifying. The guy suddenly moved his mask over yo the side of his face. An all green swirl of madness and chaos pierced my heart. I was frozen in fear of this insane guy! His eye continued to swirl into my worst fears, gazing through my mind. His eye was so intense and horrendous. I was trembling and shaking like crazy. "What was that?" He smoothly asked. His voice sent chills down my spine. It was so menacing and smooth, too smooth. But to top it all off, he smiled. A crazed, insane smile. He held my vision at his swirling eye, I couldn't look away! I was frozen still with fear, my body cold...I saw my life flash before my eyes then my body, dead on the floor in a pool of blood...
*SNAP*
My suffering finally ended as I blacked out on the ground.

Dream POV

Dream continued to stare into the boy's soul as he loudly snapped his fingers in front of his face, sending the boy to the ground in shocked fear.
That wasn't even my messed up eye! What a scaredy-cat!
Once he fell to the floor Dream began laughing so hard. "He just fell! Bwahahahahahah!!!" He boisterously laughed while moving the mask back over his other eye. "What the..." Sapnap barely managed to say from his shock. Dream just paralyzed his brother in fear! Dream calmed down a bit and turned to face his friends. "I bet he wet his pants." Dream laughed. "How did you do that! Pftt-" George asked while beginning to laugh. "It's called the art of intimidation." He joked back. Bad began giggling a little. "Oh man, he'll have nightmares for weeks!" Fushimizu joined. "Oh. My. God. FINALLY THIS JERK GOT WHAT HE DESERVED!" Sapnap suddenly yelled in joy. "I had no idea he was that scared." He added with a satisfied face. The group turned to main door.

(Sorry this is a short chapter but I hope it was satisfying. I felt like we needed a bit more humor and the good old group shenanigans. R.I.P Sapnap's brother though- his canon fear is now officially Dream. Have a good day/night, thank you for reading! ❤️)
