(A/N: Look guys, I'm sorry it's taken me so long but you'll all have to get over it. I'm definitely not trying to be rude, but it becomes too much with everyone pressuring me. You all have to understand that it's hard for me to continue to write this story. My uncle comitted suicide, and I'm still not over it enough to be able to write a story where his name is based. Always writing Danny this, Danny that. It gets to me. Makes me remember. But anyway, I hope you enjoy this. It's short. And no, I don't know when I'll upload again. Maybe in a day, maybe a week, maybe a year. Just deal with it.)

“Simple?” I bite my lip. “You’re sure?”

“Simple,” Tommy nods.

“Okay thanks,” I smile. “Get out now.”

He rolls his eyes before retreating from my room. He slams the door after him. Instead of firing up at him like he probably expects I make my way to my bathroom.

I don’t know where Danny is taking me, he won’t tell me. So I’m completely clueless with what I’m supposed to wear. But I put my faith in Tommy. He says to ‘keep it simple’ and my casual white summer dress is catching my eye.

After dressing I dry my hair while trying to decide how to wear it. When it’s finally dry, I run my finger through it. I decide it will be pretty curled.

“Hey,” Daniel says while knocking on my bathroom door. “You decent?”

“Yes,” I call back.

I finish my last curl as we walks in. He smiles. “You look beautiful.”

I can’t help myself from looking over him. His hair, like always, is disheveled sexily, and complements his blue and black checkered shirt. The black shorts and his casual vans complete his look. I can almost feel my mouth water.

“Danny,” I laugh. “I haven’t even done my make-up yet.”

He shrugs. “You don’t need make-up to look beautiful, Meiky.”

“You’re my brother,” I tell him, looking down at my outfit as I smooth it out. In a whisper, I point out like I always do, “You have to say that.”

“No,” He says forcefully. I feel his hand under my chin, pulling my head up. He holds me in a strong gaze. “I don’t have to say anything. I choose to.”

Before I can process his words his lips are crashing down onto mine. I’m shocked for only a second before my hands find his hair and I’m kissing him back.

“Dan where are my keys?”

Daniel softly groans before pulling away. I don’t say anything, I’m breathing too hard.

“Meik-”

“Daniel!”

I shake my head. “Go. I’ll see you soon.”

“Right,” He grins crookedly before leaning down and pecking me. “See you.”

I watch him leave before turning back to the mirror. I can’t refrain from feeling my lips.

Ten minutes later my make-up is done and I’m ready with my bag. Deciding I can spare five minutes I quickly call Kaitie.

“Hey, I see you!”

I shake my head. “How’d you know it was me calling? Too bad if it was someone else.”

“Caller ID,” She laughs.

“Oh my God,” I hit myself in the head.

She laughs harder. “Don’t hit yourself, you look like an idiot!”

I roll my eyes.

“So,” She continues, getting over her laughing fit. “Why call when you can just simply walk next door?”

“Because-”

“Because,” She cuts me off. “You’re either too lazy, or you’re too engrossed in Daniel.”

I fall onto my bed. “Look around my room – yes I know you’re looking in my room, you stalker – do you really see Danny?”

“Right, good point. Hey!” She shouts. “Give that back, Mark!”

I look to my right and see Kaitie chasing Mark around her bed, trying to grab something off of him.

“What does he hav-”

“My bra!”

I start laughing uncontrollably; listening and watching the two of them fight each other for it. Finally I decide I need to help them out.

“Tommy!” I call before hearing a loud crash from somewhere downstairs.

“What?” He calls back.

“I need you, quick, it’s an emergency!” He’s in my room in less than a minute. I smile innocently at him. “Kaitie needs help next door.”

I watch as his eyes make their way to my bedroom window and beyond into Kaitie’s room. They light up in amusement as he sees the two of them fighting.

“But,” He shakes his head. “What do you want me to do?”

I shrug. “I don’t know, but I need to leave soo-”

“Now,” Danny cuts in from behind Tommy.

“Yeah,” I agree, feeling a blush fill my face as I remember what happened not even three minutes ago. “I need to go now.”

“Fine,” Tommy sighs, but I know that he doesn’t mind much. Maybe I’m pushing it, but I’m sure he doesn’t mind one bit, actually. “See you both later.”

When Tommy’s out of the room Daniel raises his eyebrows at me.

“What?” I ask him innocently while sitting up.

He smirks. “Playing match maker?”

Shrugging, I grab my bag and stand up. I straighten my dress before letting a small smile slip onto my face. “Maybe…”
