The Appointment Part 1

Jane POV

The ride to the doctors office was very peaceful, Laney was strapped in the back singing along with music on the radio. I'm amazed and truly grateful that she is really trusting us. I mean this girl has obviously been through some serious trauma.

"Janie?"

"Yea Laney-bug?" I responded looking at her through the rearview mirror

"Wher' we gowing" she curiously asked while looking out of her window

"Um kiddo remember when you woke up earlier and you asked where Maura was?" I ask trying to ease my way into this conversation that I know she isn't going to like.

"mmhmm yous say shes taked hers phone cwalls"

"Yea peanut you're right I did tell you she had a phone call to make. Laney, Maura had to make a phone call to one of our very good friends, and now we are on our way to see this friend."

"why?" She asks

"Well because she is a doctor just like me but she specialized in children and little just like you." Maura quickly jumped into help me.

"but whys we gowing thewre?"

"Well kiddo to get you umm a check up"

"But but me no likwe check up. Me no wan go Janie" I see her pouty little lip and tears forming in her eyes through the mirror"

"Hey peanut no tears. Its gonna be okay. You're gonna love Ari and she is very nice " I can see my words have no affect on her as the tears continue to streak down her cheek.

"Hey Laney it okay sweetheart. Jane and I will be there with you the whole time and Arizona is one of greatest friend. And do you want to know a secret?"

"yesh" she responds with a teared lace voice

" Arizona has a Little too, her name is Meredith."

"w-weally?" she ask seeming to perk up at the thought of meeting another little.

"Yup kiddo you will love them. Mere and Ari will both be there today at your appointment.

"Otay Janie I go but yous prowise yous stay wiff me?"

"I promise that we will stay with you the whole time.

Meanwhile at Arizona's

Office Arizona POV

"Okay Edwards I need you to do all my post ops and finish my charting. I have meeting in about 30 minutes and I need no distractions." I give my intern my instructions in which she agrees. I turn around to walk in to my office to see my beautiful little girl sitting at my desk patiently waiting for me.

"Hey sweetheart how was your surgery?"

"It went weally good but I tired Momma?" She says rubbing her little eyes. I walk over to her and pick her up sitting her down on my lap. I brush the hair out of her face and plant a kiss on her forehead. I see her eyes slowly closing. Knowing it is too late for this little one to take a nap I decided to let her know the news about our visitors coming.

"Tired huh? Even too tired to see Aunty Jay and Aunty Dorth?"

"Weally Momma they coming?!" She jumps up out of my lap in excitement.

"Yes silly billy they are gonna be here soon" she immediately does her happy dance she does when she is excited.

" Hey silly girl I need you to settle down." I tell but of course she doesn't listen or can't hear me over her excitement.

"Meredith Grey! You need to settle down and listen to me right now or there will be a time out in your immediate future" She instantly stop in her tracks when she hears me mention a time out.

"Sowwy Momma"

"It okay sweetie I know you're excited but I need to tell you something important about Aunty Jay and them visiting."

"Otay Momma I got my big girl listening ears on." she says as she give a salute. I chuckle at the little girl in front of me. Never again well I let her spend a whole week with my dad.

"Okay well today while Aunty Jay and Dorth was on lunch they ran into a 'special friend' that need some help. So they are bringing her by to get a check up and I'm gonna need your help."

"Momma is she a little like me?"

"Yes sweetheart she is a little just like you." I accentuate every word with a kiss to her little cheek. Loving the giggles I get from her. Then she stops and gives me a serious but sad look before she askes

"Momma does she need help because someone hurt her too?" She says in a sad voice that breaks me heart. She already know the answer to the question but I still answer her.

"Yes baby girl someone hurt her too. She needs our help to make her feel better."

"Otay Momma. I can do that. I be a very good helper."

"I betcha you will kiddo but before we get here what are the rules about meeting a new scared and hurt friend." I ask her know that she has these rule branded in her memory from all the little we have helped over the years but we always go over them to make sure she doesn't forget.

"Wule 1. Never appwoach or touch them less they say yes. Wule 2. Always use inside voice. Wule 3. no move awound a lot cuz you migh scawre them. Wule 4. Always be nice and smile so they kno we awe fwiendly. Last Wule Always always listen to them. if they say stop we must stop.

"Good Job baby girl I'm so proud of you for remembering all you're rules" She gives me the cheekiest smile and god I love this little girl.

"Momma whats her name?" She ask but right as I was about to answer her there was a knock on the door. I tell Mere to hold on as I answer the door for our visitors.

Maura greets me with a kiss on both cheeks and Jane gives me a sideways hugs as she has a little girl attached to her other side burying her face into hip. I invited them into the office to have a seat. Jane quickly pick up her little girl and hold her on her hip while she buries her face into her neck.

As they went to have a seat on the couch Meredith mean her presents known.

"Hi Aunty Jay. Hi Aunty Dorth." We hear a gasp coming for the little girl in Janes lap. We all turn to look at her just as she removes her face from hiding

"Mewebear" the little girls say as she fully turn around to look at Meredith

"OH MY GOSH LANEY!!!" she quickly make her way of to the little girl just in time for her to jump off of Jane's laps and engulfs her into a hug. We watch as the two little girls embrace each other with tear stained faces wondering how these two littles knew each other.

Hey so I decide to add I little bit of a crossover no to much but I wanted Laney to have a person who she trust and love to help her guide her into this relationship with Jane and Maura. This chapter was just pretty much to introduce Laney and Meredith relationship and Next chapter which will be posted shortly sinc I'm halfway through it will talk about what Arizona finds out about both their past and Jane Maura learning more about Laney. I Just feel like they really need to understand her before really getting into CG/lg head first so don't worry we are literally one chapter away from fully getting into their little and mommies life so just bare with me. Like I said before Im open to input and suggestion
