Our Little Survivor

We finally got our Family.

Maura POV
The unexpected dinner with family went as well as it could have possibly gone. Laney was comfortable around the the Rizzoli clan and Angela held back on her usual manner to smother the little girl. We enjoyed our dinner and shortly after Frankie and his family left with promises to be back soon for a play date. Angela gave the girls a kiss on the cheek and retired to the guest house.

"Alright girls it's time for a bath and then bedtime" Jane tells the girls as I finish up the last of the dishes.
"Aunty Jay can we's has bubbles in our bath?" Meredith asks
"Of course what's a bath without bubbles"
" Yay Aunty Jay your the bestest"
"Already kiddies head up the guest bathroom but do not get in or touch anything til I get up there do you understand me?"
"Yes. C'mon Laney I show you all the cool toys that we has here for bath time" Meredith tells Laney as she practically drags the little girl up the stairs.
I watch as the two little girls disappears up the stairs. Next thing I feel arms wrapped around me and Jane places feathering kisses on my neck.
"God have I ever told you how much I love you today?"
"Mmm no I don't believe you have." She quickly turns me around and soon her lips were on my in a passionate kiss. I let out a moan as a feel her tongue swipes across my bottom lip asking for access which I grant her instantly. I place my hand in her raven locks as her hand roam my body stopping at my waist. She lifts me up and places me on the island and parts my legs so she standing in between never breaking our kiss. Her hands on inner thigh heading for the place I need her the most. God this feels so good I can help the next moan leave my mouth as her hand finally meets my core.
"Aunty Jay are you coming?"
"Not yet but I'm trying" I hear my Jane mumbles as she continue to place kiss on my neck. I chuckle at the comment which turns into another moan as she hit a sensitive spot on my neck.
"Jane honey as much as I love this we gotta stop because if don't get up there, they'll come down here"
"Ugh I know but you just feel so good" came her husky reply
"Aunty Jay?" We hear the call again but closer this time meaning the little is nearing the stairs.
"Yea munchkin I'm coming" she replies giving me one last kiss before running up the stairs to the girls.

Jane POV
I meet the girls upstairs in the bathroom and I gather the towel and stuff I need for bath time.
"Okay girls do you guys want vanilla bubbles or lavender bubble bath?"
"Labener pwease Jay Jay it's me faborite ."
"Alrighty Lavender it is. Okay I start the water while you guys that get ready to climb in."  As we the bathtub fills and the girls are just about to get in we hear a knock on the door and it opens revealing my beautiful wife.
"Oh good I got her just in time. We need to cover up her cast so it doesn't get wet."
"Oh yea forgot about that hey Laney bug can you come here please."
"Yes Jay Jay?" She say timidly as if she in trouble
"It's okay peanut you don't need to be scared. We just need to cover your cast so it doesn't get wet during you bath okay."
"Otay Jay Jay"
After wrapping her cast in plastic we help the little girl finish undressing doing our best in the all the bruises and scars that litters her little frame. It breaks my heart to see just about most of her body covered in such bad bruises and I know Maura feels the same as I see the looks in her eyes. I quickly help the little girl in the tub and she began playing with the toys along with Meredith.
After bathing the two little I take them to the guest bedroom to get them dress and ready for bed. I get both girls tuck in the bed and give them a kiss on the forehead. Meredith instantly falls asleep. I watch Laney for while until I see her close her eyes. Just as I'm about the leaving I hear Laney voice.
"Jay Jay?"
"Yea bug"
"Cupcake n fluffy awe scawed again." She says with a sad look on her face.
"Hmm why is that?"
"Them scawed of the monsters"
"Monsters huh?" She shakes her head yes
"Well cupcake and fluffy you don't ever have to worry about monsters coming here because I'm a cop and everyone know that's monster are afraid of cops and if any monster try to get in here they will have to answer to Badass Rizzoli and they won't like that. I will keep you guys safe always."
"Weally?"
"Yes I promise."
"Pinky pwomise?" She said sticking out her little pinky. I mirror her action and link our pinky together.
"Pinky promise"
"Nigh nigh Jay Jay"
"Night little bug. I'll see you in the morning"
"Luv yous and Mauwa too"
"Love you kiddo" I say as I place another to her forehead and I wait a few minute until she falls asleep. As I turn to leave out the door I see my beautiful wife standing outside the doorway.
"Hey how long have you been standing here?"
"Long enough to hear that monster are afraid of Badass Rizzoli" she says chuckling
"*gasp* Language Maura" she laugh as I lean in for a quick kiss
"Jane?"
"Hm"
"She loves us."
"Yea I know and we love her too."
"This is really happening."
"Yea this is really happening, we finally have our family. And I can't wait to go through this journey with you. I love you Maura."
"I love you too Jane"

Alright guys I just wanted to give you guys a short chapter with some fluff. Next chapters really begins there family life. I think I'm gonna make Laney youngest age range about 1.5 and her oldest about 4. Hope you guys enjoy the short little tidbit I promise next chapter will be longer.
