Thank you for reading Once The Light Fades, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
I started writing this around April of 2020, and finished writing it on December 28, 2020.
It's the third story I've finished in the crazy year of 2020. I guess being locked in the house actually helped me focus on finishing my stories.
Joining writing contests help a lot too, I've come to find out that if I have deadlines to meet (not my deadlines though, those mean sh*t), that I get that extra push to finish my stories. My brain works better when it's pressured. Crammer forever!
I hope I get lucky in that WriCon, if I don't - then that's okay too. At least I finished the story.
This story was inspired by the song "Ocean Eyes" by Billie Eilish, I think I've listened to that song a couple of hundred times in 2020. Lol. I love it so much.
I think I'll edit this story in a few months, put in more scenes there - I just had to keep it below 30k for the WriCon.
