Fuck fuck fuck this cannot be happening this just isn't it. I just got the call from Cheryl. I wanted to drop down to my knees and cry my eyes out. I wanted to fight the world. I wanted to kill my soul.
Why Cheryl why does everything happen to Cheryl? Why not me god? Come get me
I ran downstairs putting on my shoes. Then I forgot something. I went back upstairs and grabbed my case full of guns. Yeah I know it sounds crazy but you never know when you need them.
Good thing I have 2 cars I would have been screwed. I threw them in the grinch of the car. As I was closing it everyone pulled up to the house.
Well that was quick.
"Where the fuck is Cheryl?" I heard Lauren say in a concerned voice. As she got out of the car.
"I don't know but we are going to find her. You got all the snacks, juice, and water?" I asked.
"You know it, we have to get this in order we have to find out where she is" Lauren said to me with her green eyes looking dull today.
"Don't panic okay? We'll find her and keep her away from these crazy people" I said with a slight chuckle.
"How about you ride with me" She said pointing to her car. I nodded my head as she went to get my gun case out the trunk.
I went and sat in her passengers seat.
God Cheryl I miss you so much just hold on we're coming.
She got into the car and gave my a warm smile. God why is she always happy Jesus.
I gave one back anyway. I just wanted to find Cheryl.
We began driving to where her phone said she was Lauren looked tense.
For the first time I was worried about her really bad. More than usual honestly.
"Hey what's wrong? you know you can talk to me about anything. Bro-girl to bro-girl." I chuckled at the end. Trying to make her cheer up.
"Nothing I'm just pissed off that Cheryl would get herself into this kind of mess and the things she said to me the other day Toni." She said looking at the road.
Lauren had a normal life and she was always wealthy. It's just her life went to a turn. I'm not going to talk about the turn but I'm not going to talk about it.
"What do you mean what she told you?" I asked.
"She just said things to me Toni about you. It made me happy and now that might not happen" She said with a tear coming down her face.
"What did she sa-" She cut me off.
"She wanted to fucking marry you Toni. She told me she wants a life with you...a family. She wants to be with you for the rest of her life but you were being an asshole to her." She said through her teeth.
"I didn't mean to you know I get carried away I have issues."
"Are those issues worth losing Cheryl to someone else?" she started. " Or should you put them aside and love you til your heart can't love any fucking more?" She asked me. I didn't know what to say.
"I get where you're coming from. I know I was an asshole. I know I was being a bag girlfriend but I couldn't help it " I said looking at my hands.
"Yeah you should've thought about that before Toni" She said through her teeth.
I felt bad..real bad. Why would I do that to some one who loves me. I'm supposed to love her back.
I can't even believe that I would treat her like that. That's not how you were raised to treat people.
Now what am I supposed to do?
We rode in the car for another 15 minutes until we were there. We all got out of he car and into the woods.
I pulled out my phone and began following the tracker. It started moving. As if she was in a car.
"Guys!" I yelled out.
"Guys come here right now" I said looking at my phone.
"What is it?" Archie asked.
"It's moving, the tracker is moving. The fucking bastards have her in a car let's go!" I yelled
Everyone was racing trying to get to their cars. God why us? why the fuck us?
I hurried and got into the passenger seat.
Lauren got in right after me panting and trying to turn on the car. She did and sped off in the car.
"Where does it say go?" She asked in panic.
God give us a fucking sign please just give us a sign.
"Left go left" I said to get tired. I look my jacket off trying to calm down. We were driving as the tracker was moving.
My heart was racing and pounding out of my chest. Oh my goodness why her.
As we were driving my heart stopped, my life stopped, my soul stopped. The tracker disappeared.
"No no no no this can't be happening" I said as I panicked.
"What?" Lauren asked me.
"The tracker stopped the fucking tracker stopped Lauren" I said as I let my phone drop to the floor of the car.
I started crying hard. I was crying to the point I couldn't breathe. Why me? Why us.
I felt a hand on my back while I was crying.
"Hey I'm gonna take you home. How about we all just spend the night together and try to figure something out" She said softly to me while driving.
I nodded my head at what she said.
Cheryl pleas give me a sign where you are please baby I'm begging you
Later that night
We finally got home. It was about 9am and everyone was here at my house. In their pj's some sitting on the floor others brought sleeping bags.
I can't believe this was happening. I already miss hold Cheryl, Giving her kisses on the cheek.
"Toni you okay?" Jughead asked me while putting his hand on my back.
"No not at all. All I want is Cheryl I want her here with me to be safe what if she's dead" A tear rolled down my eye as I thought of that.
"We will find her when have we ever let you down?" He asked me.
"Never Jug Never" I replied to him.
