Archie p.o.v
It's 11pm we are ready war ready to be exact. I wanted Reggie dead for real this time. I wanted to do it I wanted to see it. He hurt Cheryl after I never got a chance to tell her.
Tell her that she means the world to me. I couldn't have a little sister so she is mine.
"Hey you guys ready?" Jug asked. Everyone said yes. We started putting our black jackets and black jeans on.
"Where did you get these?" Lauren asked me.
"They have this room filled with these. So I just took some and brought them with me...I knew I had a plan" I said with a slight smile on my face.
Lauren was alright with me I like her she's cool.
"So everyone gets the plan right?" Lauren asked. People nodded their head.
"When we make it out of here because I know we're men and stronger. Girls run ahead of us never stop. If one of you gets tired hustle and help." I said looking at them.
They said okay and agreed. God please let this work. Toni here comes Cheryl.
"We have 30 more minutes until it's time everyone just chill. Jug fill the bag with food" I said. He looked confused.
"Why all we have to do is run out of this dungeon" He said with a little laugh.
"Do you not know where we are?" I asked almost yelling.
Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Why do they not know?
"We are not in the woods we are in a deserted part of Florida these trees reach for miles and miles. It might be a couple hours maybe even days"I said to them.
They looked devastated. I didn't know what to say now but keep moving.
"We can still do this" Betty said standing up off from the floor.
"Lauren this is my only wish from you and I need to say this just in case we don't make it....Lauren take care of Cheryl. That's like my little sister I can't risk losing her. If something happens to me promise you will keep Cheryl, Ronnie, Betty, and your girls okay." I said with a tear going down my face.
I could see that a few were forming in hers. She opened her arms for me to hug her. I gave her a tight hug.
"I promise Archie" She whispered in my ear.
She's alright with me.
We all hugged each other and prayed that we all made it. I just wanted to make it with them all.
I looked at my watch. The only way to tell time right now. It read 11:56...only four minutes left.
Everyone made sure to grab everything that we needed for this.
"Everyone stay calm okay? It's going to be okay" I started. "When is say go run through these halls don't stop. Everyone hold someone's hand. Take 2 rights and 4 lefts" I said to them.
They nodded I looked down at my watch and it was time.
"Go" I said as I unlocked and opened and swung it open. We all ran with me being first holding Ronnies hand.
We ran the ways I told them to run before we opened the door. My blood was pumping. We ran for our lives. We wanted to be free.
"Go into immediate search I repeat go into immediate search" We heard Reggie yell over the intercom.
We were almost there to the front door we just needed to make it out of here.
"Come on go go go" I yelled as I pushed the door open to freedom.
We ran all the way to the large gate. Here we had to climb.
"Go climb get up there" I yelled to the top of my lungs.
We climbed and climbed until we reached the top. There we had to jump down.
We jumped some hurting their self but quickly getting up. When they got to their feet they waited for everyone else to come down.
"I can't do it Archie" I heard and looked to see it was Cheryl.
She was at the top and didn't want to jump down. She doesn't like being in higher places.
"Cheryl jump down we can't leave you behind you have to come down" I said to her watching the guards as they slowly were making their way here.
"No Archie I can't" She said shaking.
Fuck Cheryl please don't panic while you're up there.
"Cheryl baby listen to me jump down. Just come on I'll catch you I promise. I haven't made a promise that I didn't keep" Lauren said panicking hoping she would come down.
She gave in and jumped. And as she promised Lauren was there to get her. We gained back our vision and what we were here for.
Freedom
We ran...and ran...and ran until we couldn't run anymore. We did it together as a whole we made it out.
Non of us died we all lived. Fuck you Reggie Fuck you!
"Freedom!" I screamed as we kept running at full speed.
"Freedom!" Lauren screamed as she was running with Cheryl's hand in hers.
"Freedom!" Betty, Jug, and Ronnie screamed.
"Freedom baby" Cheryl screamed at the top of her lungs.
Freedom at last.
We ran until we got tired. We reached a part of the woods where there was a road so we followed it.
It was still dark but we couldn't hear the alarms anymore so that's good.
"I told you it would work I told you i'd...no we'd do it" I said with a smile on my face.
"Thanks Archie you really took one for us" Jug said punching me jokingly in the arm.
"Yeah you did you're a good leader batman" Lauren said and laughed.
We were walking for about 2 hours now til we saw a gas station.
We went up to it and went inside. We looked around at all of the good snacks.
Fuck we don't have any money.
"Hey you kids hungry?" I heard and it was a guy in a tux. He looked really really fancy.
"Yes sir we are" I answered looking at him.
I dug into his pocket and pulled out some cash. When I say the gave me about $500 in cash. I were so happy.
We bought a book bag and put plenty of food in them everyone had their own.
We walked out of the store before I heard something.
"Guys wait" I heard Lauren say. Everyone stopped?
"Yeah Laur?" I asked her.
"There's a pay phone I can call Ally and tell them to come get us" She smiled and went to the phone and began dialing.
Wait what if their looking for us? We can't risk waiting for them not out here. Not like this.
"Guys we can't just wait here those people might be looking for us" I whispered to them.
"But if she calls them we can just move on with our lives." Cheryl said.
"No this is far from over." I said looking at them all.
Yeah....this is far from over.
