That phone call scared me. It shook me to the point my mouth was dry I couldn't talk. Why Cheryl, why me, why us.
Is there something else I can do to make them stop? What if they don't we're doomed if they don't. I don't want to have to do this.
I had laid Cheryl down on the bed after what seemed like hours of her saying she didn't want to. She finally just went to sleep and stopped.
I sat back on the couch in stress. I need to put this to an end now. I can't do this anymore.
I called the only person I knew could help. That was Veronica.
I held the phone to my ear as it rang waiting on her to pick up.
"Hey boo what's up?" She said I let out a sigh of relief.
"Hey Ronnie I need you to um rally up Betty, Lauren, and her girls" I said shaking my leg on the couch.
"Why what do we need to do? Is it bad? what's going on?" She panicked through the phone.
"No just get them together we need to have a meeting. I'll explain everything once you all are here" I said ending the conversation.
I sat some snacks and drinks out because...their gonna need this trust me.
I gently peeped upstairs to make sure Cheryl was still asleep. I look at her snuggled up into the covers with a bear.
Even like this she's beautiful it's just insane how she's perfect. I've never seen the day.
I closed the door leaving a crack in it. I went back downstairs to wait on the girls to arrive.
After about 40 minutes I heard a knock on the door. I fixed my jacket and answered.
"I hear you needed the gang here?" Veronica said as she giggled.
I stepped by to let them in she also brought Archie and Jughead.
Some people sat on the couches, some of them grabbed bean bags, then others just sat on the floor.
We sat and talked for a while. We drank and ate snacks. But it was time to get to business.
"Okay guys so this is serious" I started getting everyone's attention.
"What's serious?" Archie asked me in a concerned voice.
"Um I got a call from the person who wants me to give them Cheryl" I said. Some gasped and others looked confused.
"What the hell are you talking about?" I looked over at Ronnie, Betty, Archie, and Jughead.
Then I realized. I never told them about what was going on. They have no idea what is going on.
"Fuck Toni you didn't tell them? I told you to tell them." Lauren said to me.
For the next 40 minutes I was explaining to them what was going and and why.
Well I really didn't know why but I stood them what I thought. Why is this happening to me...to us. What's going on with life.
"No one is going to touch Cheryl I mean that not a fucking hand" Archie said to me.
Archie loves Cheryl they have been through a lot together. Archie is kind of like a brother to her and she loves that about him. I know that she will always be well taken care of if i'm not around.
"I know but that's apart of the plan" I said.
"So what we use her as bate and hope that these maniacs don't come get her where she stands I mean come on Toni" Betty said but she's right.
"The plan will work though" Nomani started. "If we plan it the right way and make sure everyone plays their part" She finished.
All of us nodded our heads showing her we agree. We just don't know how to play it out.
"What if this is like a little kid or something just playing a game. Well It's a bad idea but kids are kids" Camila said playing with her hair.
"What type of game would this be it's like playing Russian Roulette. That's not safe nor okay to do" Betty said.
"No this can't be this isn't Riverdale we brought Cheryl here for protection and now here we are back at square one we're trapped" Jughead explained.
"Cheryl is going to be okay as long as she stays with me." I looked at him as I said that.
"So what now we just suffer defeat and give them what they want?" That's what we do?" Jughead said to me.
"That's all we can d-"
"You're a South Side Serpant not a pussy Toni Topaz" He growled at me standing up.
It made my blood boil inside not knowing what to say back at first. He glared me in my eyes.
"Toni Jughead calm down" Lauren grabbed my shoulders and put me back onto the couch.
"What do you want me to do then? huh let them murder her? you will never know what it's like. No one is after Betty and no one fucking raped her." I said through my teeth trying not to yell.
He looked shook when I said that. I was right though I had a point. What else was their to do?
"We do this. We make the plan keep Cheryl safe and keep us safe but we need to get to the bottom of this. Fighting and getting mad shouldn't be something we worry about right now what matters is our safety and Cheryl got it?" Archie said as he glared at everyone and we nodded our heads.
"This is a family not a meet and greet we make up one body, one strong mind we make it" Veronica finished him off.
Minutes went by and we finished up the conversation. I cleaned up my mess and went upstairs to Cheryl.
She was still sound asleep she had to be really tired.
I took off my shirt and pants then climbed in bed with her. When I got in she almost immediately grabbed onto my body.
She really missed me.
I grabbed her to let her know I was here and this is me. I love Cheryl with all my heart. This just might be the craziest thing i've ever done.
"Toni" I heard her groan in tiredness.
"Yes love?" I said softly.
"Your love we?" She asked. I giggled at her saying we instead of me.
Lord she's going to be the death of me.
"Yes I love we babe" I laughed as I went to sleep with her.
