It was the next day. I finally wasn't mad at Toni. Well I wasn't going to say I'm not mad but I got it out of my head.
What she said to me really made me insecure inside...and out. I hear those words everywhere I go now. I wish she wouldn't have said it.
I wake up next to Toni. Honestly I love this house it's big and perfect. I just hate that we left Riverdale. I pulled away from her grasp and went to the bathroom.
I needed to freshen up and get ready for today. I was turning on the shower water then I heard my phone ring.
I looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Lauren. Honestly she's a sweetheart and a good friend. I can't believe she's so amazing. I picked the phone up.
"Yeah Lauren?" I said through the phone.
"Hey um what are your plans for today?" She asked me.
I didn't have anything to do. Toni was probably going to death cuddle me all day. Even though I would love that.
"Uh nothing why?"
"I was going to ask you if you wanted to go to Starbucks?" She said shyly through the phone.
I love Starbucks and I can't wait to go yay!
"Yes I would love to" I said.
"I'll pick you up in about 45 minutes"
"Kay kay" I said as I hung up the phone.
I took a shower, got out, washed my face and brushed my teeth. I had the robe wrapped around my body as I went into the room and began to search through the closet.
I didn't know what I wanted to wear. I settled on a red long sleeve crop top, black ripped jeans, and my Jordans.
Yes I'm a white girl with drip don't disrespect period.
As I was putting my clothes on I heard a voice behind me.
"Babe? Why are you getting dressed?" I heard and turned around. Obviously I knew it was Toni.
"I'm going out babe just for some coffee" I said telling her the truth.
She came to me and gave me a morning kiss and I returned it. I was scared that she was going to say I can't go or something.
Surprisingly she didn't and I was a bit confused at her actions.
"You want to drive my car? or yours?" She asked me.
My face was shook. Did Toni have nothing to say about me going out somewhere?
Yeah she's cheating on me there is no way.
"Um are you feeling okay Toni?" I asked her feeling on her face.
She let out a little giggle and rolled her eyes at me. I was just shook at what she was doing right now.
"Yes babe have fun okay?" She said planting a kiss on my forehead and walking into the bathroom.
I shrugged it off finally letting it go. After a while Lauren text me and told me she was outside. I grabbed my phone and headed out the door.
When I got into the car Lauren greeted me with a warm smile. She's always smiling she's cocky I know it.
"Hey Laur" I said giving her a hug before putting on my seatbelt.
"Hey red head" She said to me backing out of the driveway.
She was really cool to hang around I couldn't believe she was like this. She's really nice to me all of time no matter what. I thanked her for that.
