We had a plan it wasn't the best but we had to do it. When Lauren got her letter we let her go as we watched them take her in the distance. We don't know where they went but she tracked it.
We contacted the police but they didn't do anything about it. They just pretended to care about what we were talking about.
"So do you think this will work?" I heard from the bathroom.
"Yeah Normani it's going to work." I said to her as I took what felt like my 15th shot of the day.
"You know that stuff can ruin your body Toni I think you should stop that's your 3rd bottle" She said to me getting ready to sit on my bed.
I had been drinking since Cheryl left I get in my feelings and wish everything was over. Now Lauren is in there and what if they hurt her.
Or maybe they're hurting Cheryl, It's a lot to think about. I hate that this happened all I wanted to do was keep her safe.
I'm literally drunk out of my mind. I wish I didn't do this though. It is not good for me like she said.
"I'll be fine Normani honestly" I said getting up from the bed and walking over to her.
My god she's perfect as hell
what? no you don't think that you love Cheryl stop it!
She looks amazing ...
"Well Toni it's a lot on your mind so I kinda get it" She said with a small smile.
I couldn't help but think about Cheryl and Lauren. I turned away from her and sat on the bed again.
I looked at my hands ...their shaking with fear, anger, and sadness. I began to cry softly.
I didn't know why my life was like this maybe i'm not enough.
"Hey ... why are you crying? what's wrong Toni?" I heard Normani say as she came to sit next to me and give me a hug.
"My life is falling apart and I can't glue it back together" I sobbed to her.
God what is happening.
"Toni you're drunk you need to calm down and take some deep breathes. Your life isn't falling apart" She said softly.
God I want her right now
what? bro stop thinking like that it's not okay.
I looked up from my hands and wiped my eyes. I looked at her in her eyes.
They were brown like Cheryl's just slightly smaller. Her skin looked soft like Cheryl's too. With her nice perfect teeth.
"Normani?" I said softly.
"Yeah?" She said to me. Wanting to know what I had to say.
"I need you" I said to her. I can't believe I let that slip out of my mouth but it did.
She chuckled before speaking. "What do you mean you need me?" She asked me.
"Let me make you feel good Normani" I said looking into her eyes.
"Toni you have Cheryl and I like men that can't happen" She said standing up. Before she could get away from me.
"I said I wanted to make you feel good not Cheryl" I said to her.
"That doesn't change the fact that I like men" She said rolling her eyes at me. I didn't get why she was trying so hard to get away from me.
Um maybe because you have a girlfriend and she respects that.
