Adelaide stood there, stunned. The wind from the crashing ocean and impending storm blew her hair wildly across her face. It couldn't be.

She looked over to Lucius to see if she was imagining it, but he too was staring with the same horror and confusion, "Impossible."

"I-It can't be." she whispered, tears beginning to flow from her eyes.

Her knees buckled and she inhaled sharply as Philip caught her. He was real, he was actually there, but how?

"I watched you die." she trembled looking up at him.

"I didn't die." he calmly stated, his face stone cold.

"No, no. I saw you draw your last breath."

"It wasn't my last breath, little sister." his eyes were glittering slightly with a twinge of arrogance.

"There was s-so much blood, Wretcher buried you! He said it himself, you have a grave!" she cried, still in disbelief. She had finally lost her mind, that's what was happening.

She stared at her feeble hands that were shaking violently, "I'm imagining this, aren't I?" she sobbed loudly, covering her face in despair.

She felt Philip shake her, "Addie, you need to pull yourself together. We have to leave now."

He pointed his wand towards Lucius and whispered, "Obliviate"

She cried horribly, this was cruel even for her own brain to conjure, her own self hatred manifested into a psychological torture of believing Philip was still alive. She threw herself into his shoulder and cried so hard, she thought she would tear her lungs. She felt the pull of apparation and found herself in the Burke Manor.

She looked around frantically, how did she get here? She collapsed to the ground in exhaustion. The sound brought Perseus running downstairs and when he saw Adelaide on the floor, skeleton-like he knelt down beside her, "Addie? Addie oh my gosh."

She looked up towards Perseus who looked like he aged so much since she had last seen him. He wore all black and shadows were clinging under his youthful brown eyes, "Addie how did you escape? I've been trying for months to get you out."

Adelaide paused, how did she escape? She was so confused and disoriented. She was free. She instinctively grabbed towards her pocket and took out a random wand that was in her pocket. She slowly stood up with Perseus' help.

She looked up horrified, remembering how she escaped, and grabbed Perseus's shoulders, "The Dementors were gone, so I escaped and stole someone's wand and apparated here." she laughed crazily, she couldn't believe it, she was free.

He raised his eyebrow, " Addie, please, you need to lie down. You aren't well."

Her knees buckled again and she flew to the floor, but Perseus caught her, "Wretcher!"

The House Elf apparated, "Yes Master Burke? Mistress Burke!" he yelped, seeing her in her state.

Perseus calmly asked, "Wretcher, call the mediwitch and have her come, tell them it's for me and I'll use the Imperius Curse to make sure they don't know its Addie, ok?"

The House Elf nodded and disapparated with a sharp crack.

He scooped Adelaide up, distraught with how light she was. He carried her to her room and gently placed her down on her bed. He quickly left to go downstairs and meet the mediwitch.

Adelaide looked up towards her ceiling. It was white, pretty, clean. Vastly different from the stone cell walls. Perseus' footsteps down the hall along with the mediwitch's.
