[ Avengers: Endgame x Iron Man ]
In the end of the movie, at Tonys funeral, Pepper seated out a wreath into the sea with a tiny sculpture written "Proof that Tony Stark has a heart"
And just like the "I am Iron Man" line, this sculpture is also an important part of Tony Starks journey.
In the first Iron Man-movie, when Tony was captured in the cave, and build his very first suit, a group of terrorist saved him and replaced his heart with this arc reactor. Later in the movie, Tony had some failures in this metallic heart, and further developed a smarter and healthier kind.
Then Tony gave this first and old one to Pepper, and said to her that she could do whatever with it, because he didn't need it anymore.
Apparently Pepper gave it right back to him, as a gift, but in this case it was wrapped in a glass-box and turned into a sculpture written "Proof that Tony Stark has a heart". For Pepper this was a meaningful and important part of Tony, and she wanted to show him and make him feel the same way. Also because, they earlier discussed that Tony actually has a heart, even-though a lot of people didn't mean that he has, because he seemed too cold and selfish sometimes.
