So, this story is very short.
And long story short, this Budapest-thing is a thing between Natascha and Clint.
During Endgame, when Nebula sent them off to Vormir, in Quill's beloved spaceship, it was their first time in space. While they sat in front of the ship, and enjoyed the trip, they talked about Budapest:
Clint: "We're a long way from Budapest" .... and this wasn't the first time Budapest was mentioned
Back in The Avengers movie, you'll hear a conversation, ones again, between Nat and Clint, at the battlefield, about Budapest:
Natascha: "Just like Budapest all over again"
Clint: "You and I remember Budapest very differently"
And apparently, it did also appear in one of the Winter Soldier deleted-scenes, in which the Secretary said to Natascha: "If you do this, non of your past is gonna remain hidden. Not Budapest...."
And here's the big mysterious. Everyone is asking: What happened in Budapest? Cause no one knows, and it has been mentioned several times now.
And lucky you, I've got the answer right here.
According to one of The Avengers-movie, 15 minutes into the movie, you'll see a very short cut and shot of Clint and Natascha fighting some aliens in Budapest. A mission. And apparently Natascha compared it to the fight in New York, and Clint meant it was far away from the experience in space.
So actually, we don't know anything else, then it was a mission, and that it was against some aliens.
