54. Snow Up The Mountain

Jin's POV:

Today I am so excited. We finally will go hiking. We just completed shopping for groceries and the maknaes were staking the supplies in the vehicle. I take this opportunity to play at the zip line.

Soon others join and we become little primary kids.

We start the hike up hill in a file after doing our chant. As we climb we see so many other animals. We try imitating their sound, combining it with our chant. It turns out to be funny. Very funny.

The air cools down more and more as we go up. I pull my scarf tighter as the cold wind gives me chills.

Climbing closer to our destination, Yoongi starts going up fast.

"Ya, hyung slow down a bit." Tae says.

"You kids are slow. " Yoongi replies to us.

"Woah, grandpa is full of energy today. " Jungkook comments.

Yoongi starts running in tiny upwards. I join him.

We start to race. Looking at us, the maknaes sprint behind us.

After we reach the top, the sight is mesmerizing. We come to a glacier. The river of ice flowing slowly enjoying itself. The sight is so mind boggling. The milky white ice everywhere. It's hard to believe it's September, we don't get snow till late November.

Jimin runs and jumps into the snow, giggling. I pick some up and throw at his face taking revenge for what he did earlier.

His smile vanishes as his face now is covered with white. He doesn't waste time getting back at me. I run off with him hot on trail.

Sam's POV:

I see the boys running around chasing each other with lumps of snow in their hands. I never thought snow could be so beautiful. I take some in my hand. My heart feels so happy seeing snow.

I remove my gloves and stuff them into my back pocket. Cupping some snow in my bare hands I flip it in the air.

Just then a ball of snow hits my face. Shit. I turn to see Jungkook laughing. This brat.

"Jeon Jungkook! " I yell and run after him.

I guess the shoot is over, as I see people of the crew also playing with the snow. I almost catch him, when another ball hits me. It's Tae.

We start a snowball fight.

Playing and running around I crash into Namjoon. We both fall down.

First thing that comes to my mind is the stunt he pulled yesterday. My face heats up remembering the kiss.

He stands up helping me.

We turn around to someone screaming, Jin. Jungkook pushed him into the snow face first. We laugh at the sight, so lost in the scene in front of us, we don't notice someone sneaking behind us.

Next thing I know I am buried deep in the soft pillow of snow with Namjoon on top of me. F*ck.

Our faces are so close, noses and foreheads touching, his large hands on my shoulders and mine on his chest, legs tangled, his complete weight is on me. Our breath mixes creating a mist of cold air. My heart spikes up and blood rushes to my ears. His intimidating dark eyes bury in mine as if trying to find my soul. I blink, trying to take in my situation. What the hell have I got myself into. One wrong move and our lips would touch.

I shiver at that thought, no not again. This will only make things difficult. He doesn't make an attempt to move, he keeps his gaze locked into mine, making me feel vulnerable. He stays a few seconds before rolling off to the side.

He gets up slowly. I do the same, not wanting him to help me again. I do not want to think about what could have happened.

Namjoon brushes off the snow stuck on his clothes, I do the same and pull my jacket closer. As I try to free my hair, I see Namjoon glare at Taehyung who had pushed him. That brat, the hell was he thinking.

Everyone had been laughing, and I noticed just now. Soon Namjoon is chasing Tae for pulling the prank.

I back away from the spot, still my mind hazy with what had happened. Soon we will leave. I trace my steps to the vehicle deciding to wait for them there. I inform the manager and start my way down hill.

I stand outside our cabin, looking at the moon. The sky is so clear you can see hundreds of stars. My phone vibrates in my pocket. It's him again, I desperately want to block it but at the same time I do not want to. I want to talk to him but am afraid.

I just pocket the device back in and go back, letting it ring till it turns off itself.
