Sam's POV:
"Yea am leaving now. " I speak to Jay on the other side of the line, as I check one last time my luggage.
"Call me before you board. " He says.
"Of course. " I say looking at the clock. The cab will be here any minute.
"K now bye. " I say then stuff my phone into my pocket.
It's 5 in the morning, and I am getting ready to go home. Luckily for me, Bighit assured me of buying tickets for the flight saying it's included in the employees' benefits from the company. Plus they granted me two weeks of leave. Just makes my work easy. My flight is at 7:30. I'll reach Mumbai by 4 in the evening.
The bell rings, must be the cabbie. I open the door to be greeted by a humble old man.
He smiles at me and offers to pick the luggage I politely decline. I only have a suitcase and a backpack. I pick them up and place them inside the boot, after locking the door.
I settle inside and he starts the car and we head towards the airport.
As we hit the main road, I remember the boys. I haven't informed them about this. I feel a bit bad for this. I open my phone to check our recent conversations. We haven't had any proper ones after the library episode.
I leave a sigh. I feel so conflicted recently, about everything. I don't know what this is, I all of a sudden feel lonely, like someone is missing.
These thoughts keep spinning around, I know one thing is it's not Jay or my family, I miss someone who I don't even know, maybe I know them just that they r not that close as they should be.
All I can think is to try and escape from it. Am scared it's more intense than what I think it is.
As we zoom slowly through the fairly empty roads, the light hum of the engine and cool air circulating inside the cab make me feel drowsy. The last few days haven't been good and a lot of episodes took place, I feel unsurprisingly very tired. Before I know, I already drift off to dreamland.
_____________
I sit at an empty seat waiting for announcements for the flight, fiddling with the ticket. I still have more than an hour for the flight. I put the ticket inside and open my phone to check for any messages. None at all.
Leaving a sigh I lean my head back at the seat, why the hell am I feeling so tired. If I go home like this, a walking zombie, I won't be able to come back here. Jay's family is quite protective of me. It was hell lot of war to convince them to let me come to Seoul. It feels good to have someone as close as family.
Someone comes and sits beside me occupying the empty seat, I don't give it much attention to it. Morning hours are surprisingly quite busy for a non holiday season here.
I roll my shoulders a bit, they feel stiff.
"You seem tired, get some rest before the flight, we'll tell you when it's announced. " A voice says beside me.
"Do I? " I ask them. Wait who is that?
My senses become alert and I sit up straight and look at the recently occupied seat. The man seated there is reading a book, a mask covering his handsome features, his eyes clearly depicting a smile hidden behind the black cover. That voice and those eyes can never be mistaken. The hell!
"Namjoon what are you doing here? " I ask, surprised, my voice louder than needed
He smacks the book on my head lightly, and putting a finger on his covered lips indicating me to shut up, ok maybe lower my voice, shut up sounds harsh.
