DUMBLEDORE WAS PACING BACK-AND-FORTH. Gwen had told him about the possible location for the next Horcrux. She was all fired up, knowing that there is a possibility that she could be more help and destroy all of the dark artifacts.

"Sir? What do you think?"

"What you said might be true. I should have a little visit to Gaunt's old cottage."

"May I come with?" Gwen asked.

"You shall stay here. It might be too dangerous."

"With all due respect Sir, I can feel the existence of the horcrux and that will help you a lot." She was annoyed. How is he going to order her around.

"Very well." Dumbledore smiled. "We should leave right away."

"Yes Professor."

They left immediately without notifying anyone. It was a bad idea, especially with the danger to come.

-

Arriving at the Gaunt's shack. The are was loomed with darkness. But, Gwen could feel another attraction pull. Like a magnet. She knows now that it is true. The next horcrux is in that location.

"It's somewhere here. We just have to look for it." As Gwen was about to approach the small dirty shack, Dumbledore stopped her.

"Don't come closer. Tom has placed powerful spells." Gwen nodded. The old Professor whisked his wand. Muttering spells that Gwen doesn't even recognized. It was probably to help them enter the house. "Alright, we should be able to enter."

The shack was small, dilapidated, and thick with filth. A dead snake was nailed to the front door. Gwen did a quick spell to open the door without the need to touch it. Casting lumos as they enter the abandoned building. The magnetic pull was definitely getting stronger.

"I can't seem to find it Professor!" She said. But she knew it was close.

"We must look deeper."

Soon after, Gwen tripped and fell to the floor board. Seeing a crevice in between  and had a strong feeling. She ripped the old floor boards, revealing a golden box. Knowing that Tom Riddle wouldn't be foolish enough to hide this without protection, she called upon Dumbledore.

"Professor Dumbledore!"

He approached her and realized the power within the box.

"We should take this back to Hogwarts, figure out a way to open the box with no harm." She agreed to what he said. As she was about to pull the box out, a supposed dark protection spell threw her far back.

"Gwen!"

Neither Dumbledore realized the power of Voldemort's protection spell. Gwen's back hit the hard wall. As she tried to stay awake, her eyes drooped by itself. The last thing she remembered was Dumbledore approaching her.

A familiar sensation filled her body. The odd feeling of comfort. Is she okay? Fluttering her lashes, the first thing she saw was James closing his eyes next to her. Why is James here?

"You're awake! Thank goodness!" A women's voice could be heard. She was guessing that it was Madam Pomfrey. The boy next to her immediately woke up.

"Are you okay? are you hurt anywhere? How are you feeling?" James bombarded questions.

Gwen chuckled. "I'm okay? I think?" She looked at Madam Pomfrey.

"Dumbledore told me about what happened."

"He did?"

"Yes! Why did you even try to fly on a broomstick?!" The matron asked.
