Fumihiro fell on his knees by the portal. Mayumi bent down to look at his face.
"Who the hell are you?!"
"Can't you people just walk?! I'm tired of these portals!"
Something clicked in Mayumis brain.
"No shit! Are you Akaris boy-toy?!"
"I wouldn't call myself a toy!" He got on his feet and fixed his clothes.
"I see why she chose you. You're pretty hot, but don't expect her to fall in love with you." She lit up a cigarette and smiled. "She's incapable of being in a relationship right now."
"I wasn't even thinking about it. I'm just writing a book about her."
"Then I suggest you keep it professional."
"Thanks for the advice." Fumihiro took his jacket and left.

"How do I look?" Akari turned around. She was wearing a black dress and her hair was fixed up.
Kosuke smiled.
"Less creepy and kinda cute!" She chuckled.
"I'll take it as a compliment!"
"I asked couple of people to join us, hope you don't mind."
They met at the woods. Everyone was there. Their "old squad". Sakura got closer and touched her hand.
"We thought it would be a good idea to gather in his memory tonight."
"And get wasted!" Mayumi wiped her tears.
Akari smiled.
"Thank you guys. He would've been so happy right now!"
"We're ready if you are." Said Sasuke and Akari opened the rift.

They walked into the small town and found a nice place to drink. It was a warm night.
"I remember the last time we did this!" Said Akari.
"When Sasuke stole your boyfriend?" Kakashi was playing with his drink.
"Hey, I didn't steal him!"
"How do you know Sasuke stole her boyfriend? Weren't you too busy being jealous of Ogen?" Mayumi smiled like a demon.
"For the record, I wasn't jealous."
"You totally were." Akari shrug. "I remember that night. Kakashi was so jealous he couldn't even speak. I mean I was too!" She pointed at Sasuke. "You were all over Naruto!"
"No, he was the one all over me!"
"Now see what I grew up with?!" Sakura facepalmed.

Kosuke and Hikaru brought drinks and sat next to them.
"What are you guys talking about?"
"Just remembering old times."
"Hey, Hikaru! Remember that time when you and Kosuke took Ogen to the special place for grown ups?" Said Mayumi. Hikaru blushed.
"It was just an educational tour!"
"Poor Ogen. He was so young, so innocent." Kosuke covered his face with his hands. "He was probably still aftaid of huge boobs." Akari burst out laughing.
"You guys are idiots! I will never forgive you for ruining my date that night!"
"I got what I deserved. I can still hear him say odama rasengan!"
Everyone smiled as they were remembering the best times spent with Naruto and Ogen.

Kakashi noticed that everyone was becoming numb. He raised his glass.
"Guys, three years ago on this day we lost a great leader and a friend. The hell, he was much more than that!" Mayumi held his other hand. "We will never forget what Naruto did for this world. And Ogen... fine, I admit, I was jealous! The village owes him so much, he was a great healer and my wife's crush." Everyone laughed. "Let's make this night about two great heroes, who sacrificed themselves for us!"

Akari wrapped her thin fingers around the glass. A voice ran through her mind. She smiled and took a sip.

Everyone got so drunk they were laughing uncontrollably. Hikaru was sleeping on the table and of course Mayumi was making fun of him like they were still kids.
"Kakashi, why are you sad?" Akari sat right next to him.
"I was just thinking that my daughter is gonna grow up to be just like Mayumi."
"Isn't that great?!"
"No, cuz I'm gonna have to deal with two of them!" He put his face on the table.
Akari looked at everyone having fun, except Sasuke of course. He wasn't capable of having fun.
She looked around and caught a glimpse of someone watching them. He was wearing a white clothes and he felt familiar.

"Ogen?" She got up and followed the stranger through the narrow streets. Everything felt like that night when she first met Ogen.
Her heart hasn't beaten that fast for three years. She tried to catch up to the shadow. He stopped when he reached a dead end and turned away slowly.
"Orochimaru." Akari hissed.
"Sorry to disappoint you, darling." He smiled.
"What do you want?! Did you have fun makin me think that I was chasing after my dead brother?!"
"I just came here to pay my respects..Or maybe offer you a deal..."
Akari touched his arm immediately and raised her hand to teleport them somewhere private. They were now standing in one of her dimensions.
"Now talk."
"What if I found a way to bring him back?"
Akaris heart skipped a beat.
"You're bluffing! You said it was impossible!"
He smirked.
"Not anymore."
"Do it!"
"It's not that easy, sweetie." Akari pulled on his robe.
"Please Orochimaru, I'll give you whatever you want in return!"
"I don't want anything.."
"Then why?"
"Naruto wasn't supposed to die that day. That's why. But he's not entirely gone, am I right?"
Akari touched her chest.
"So you know. "
"Poor child.. you can sense him, you hear his voice inside your head.. how does it feel to have his chakra flowing in your veins?"
"Like I want to rip him out of my chest!" She scratched the fabric on her chest. "I know he's still alive somewhere in there!"
"Narutos power was too great to disappear. Yes, he is alive." Akari froze. "All these years you blamed yourself for taking his place, while what you actually did was keep him alive."
"Naruto..." she whispered. "How do we bring him back?!"
"I'll explain later. Right now you need to get back to your friends."
