"I need a day off, Hokage friend!" Kosuke sat on her desk. "You look pale, are you okay?"
"I've been better..." She opened a window. "Is it hot in here?"
"Hm.. no." He shrug. "Is something wrong with you?"
"I'm working on something." Akari wanted to say she was working on taming her demons, but she chose to stay silent.

Naruto and Sai barged in.
"Hey, are you guys hungry?" Naruto looked excited. "I just discovered the greatest place down the street. They serve the best udon in the village!"
"Are you cheating on ramen, Naruto?" Kosuke gasped.
"I don't feel like eating anything. You guys can go." Akari took a sip of water. Naruto got closer to her as Sai and Kosuke started talking about food.
"Hey, still feeling nauseous?" He caressed her cheek.
"Yeah, a little but I'm okay." She kissed him and the voices whispered something about her lying.
"You need to see a doctor."
"My blood can heal, I don't need a doctor."
"Akari." Naruto grabbed her face between his hands. "I'm worried about you. What if those parasites are causing this? Please, just go to a doctor. I'll come with you."
"It's okay, I can go by myself."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm fine." Akari kissed his cheek. "I just need some sleep and you in my bed." She whispered with a smirk.
"You won't get any sleep if we're together in that bed."
"You always fall asleep first and snore like a pig!" She poked his abs. "Now go, Kosuke and Sai are waiting for you."
"I can get you something to eat."
"Please, don't." She chuckled and waved goodbye.

"This is perfection!" Naruto sniffed the food in his bowl and rolled his eyes back. "Ugh! Yes!"

"Can you stop with the orgasmic noises?!" Kosuke dropped his chopsticks with a disgust on his pale face.
"Can't help it. Food makes me.."
"La La La La!" Kosuke covered his ears. "I can't hear anything!"
"Whatever." Naruto dug in with pleasure, slurping the hot udon from a black bowl. The place looked really nice with lanterns and red columns with traditional carvings. "Man, Akari's missing out..."
"By the way.." Kosuke wiped his lips with a napkin. "What's wrong with her?"

"I'm not sure." Naruto seemed to have lost his apetite remembering his lover not being able to eat anything for days. "Her body won't be able to handle all this exhaustion. I'm worried about her."
"I've heard that some women lose their apetite when they're carrying a child." Sai spoke with a calm voice shocking both, Naruto and Kosuke in front of him. "The other symptom is change in emotions and crying a lot." Naruto's jaw dropped on the table. Sai shrug. "What? I read that in a book."

"Nonsense." The potential father shook his head in denial. "She's not pregnant. Is she?!"
"How would I know?!" Kosuke moved his chair from him. "You're the one who.. you know.."
"What?!" Naruto took turns looking at the boys with a confused look on his face.

"Well, that is the result of having sex. You've had sex with Akari, right?" Sai seemed perfectly calm, unlike Naruto.
"Of course I have! That's not even your business! It's a personal, intimate matter!" He crossed his huge arms. But the truth was he never even thought about that result. He failed at biology class many times and never cared about how the womens' body functioned. All he cared about was becoming the greatest ninja back then. "Man..." he whispered. "What if it's actually true?"
"That's how the human female body works. I'm not sure about Akari because she's not even a human." Naruto threw a death stare at Sai. He shrug. "What? Is she?"
"Technically, she's not." Kosuke patted Narutos' tense shoulder to comfort him a little. "Naruto, I'm sure she'll tell you herself if it's true. I'll look after her until then."
"Thanks, Kosuke." He was staring at his bowl of udon like it was from outer space. Becoming a parent was only thing Naruto was scared of, because he never had one himself. He would rather fight for the world than fail the little one.

"Oh wow, you've gotten bigger!" Akari touched her belly. Sakura took her seat.
"You can't imagine how heavy this is!" She tuck her rose hair behind her ear and smiled at Akari. "You look exhausted."
"Tell me." She shrug. "Naruto begged me to see a doctor so here I am."
"What's wrong, Akari?" She touched her hand gently.
"I'm just stressed. Haven't been able to sleep or eat properly for weeks. I know I have to eat but it just disgusts me and I have so many things on my mind." She sighed. "This job is killing me."
