I opened the door to a heartbreaking view...

Jungkook POV:

There stood Kai with his arms around Y/n's waist. Her hands were on his chest and she was looking at him in the eyes while his eyes were on her lips. As Kai was inching closer, I turned around and starting running out from there. I can't just see my girlfriend kissing someone else. I can't believe that they were so immersed that they didn't notice my presence there.

I didn't expect this. I thought she needed me. Needed🙄. Why would she cheat on me? Is that cheating? Yeah. Since when? Since Kai came? Was I not enough? I knew something was going on!
 
Author's POV:

With tears in Jungkook's eyes, he went to the ground and saw his friends sitting in a circle probably waiting for him and Y/n. They all were laughing but when they saw the look of betrayal on Jungkook's face, they stopped and looked at him with concern.

Jungkook dragged himself towards them and sat at the corner, looking as if he was deep in his thoughts. Hoseok nudged Jimin in hopes that maybe he knew what happened to Jungkook but Jimin only shrugged his shoulders eyeing Jungkook.

"Hey...you okay?" Taehyung carefully asked but frowned when Jungkook rolled his eyes and stood up. "I'm going to the cafeteria." Just like that he left while the others watched him in confusion.

On the way to the cafeteria, Jungkook met Byeol in the hallway who was clinging onto him like always. He was about to push her off when he saw you coming out of the cafeteria.

Not in the right state of mind, Jungkook immediately hugged Byeol and purposely hid his face in the crook of her neck while Byeol just smirked and closed her eyes, snuggling more into Jungkook......

Y/n's POV:

I was stepping out of the chemistry class, making my way to the cafeteria when Kai tapped my shoulder. I turned around slightly smiling as I wasn't feeling the best.

"Hey!...Um, Y/n? Can we talk aside for a bit?" He asked nervously and I just hummed agreeing because I knew I didn't have anything better as Jungkook would ignore me if I sit with the group, the way he has been the past few days.

Kai held my wrist and took me to an empty classroom. "So what do you want to talk about?" I asked and crossed my arms over my chest once he let free my wrist. "I think you should break up with Jungkook." "What the- why should I do that." I was surprised and shocked at the same time.

"Y/n- hear me out. He is not the right guy for you." "Oh! Who do you think you are to tell me that?!" Kai sighed and rubbed his forehead. "At least try to unders-" "Stop it Kai" I lifted my hand in front of his face. "Stop talking nonsense cause I will NOT break up with h-" "He is fvcking cheating on you God damn it!" He practically screamed, making me flinch. I stared at him for a bit. "And that also with Byeol!"

A few seconds later, I laughed quietly and walked closer to him. Grabbing him by his collar, I pulled him close to me. "We may not be in the best terms of our relationship but I trust him enough to slap you for talking this low of him and bad about him...also on top of that! Accusing him of something he wouldn't even think about doing. And Byeol? Pftt....he will NEVER leave me...atleast for her. And it is better to stay away from my personal life and don't you dare speak a single word about Jungkook like that. I am sparing you this time, but I will not if this happens again....wanna know why? Because I love him and he loves me." I said through my gritted teeth.

At this point, our faces were dangerously close. Coming back to my senses, I backed away a little bit only for Kai to grab my waist and pull me closer that our lips almost met but I put my hand on his chest to not let that happen.

Kai's POV:

Here she goes again....ranting about her lovely 'boyfriend' who is so pure that he can't do anything wrong or bad...like ever! God! I hate him. I know hate is a strong word but I really do!

Anyways, as Y/n was backing away, my eyes went towards the classroom door from where I saw a reflection of someone walking towards the classroom. Knowing exactly who he was, I pulled Y/n by her waist as she gasped and put her hands on my chest for defence. I tilted my head to the side as I saw Jungkook standing at the doorstep, frozen.

I smirked and closed my eyes while slowly leaning in but instead of Y/n's lips, I felt a hand slap on my cheek. I looked at Y/n as she breathed heavily. Glancing at the doorstep, I saw no one. Yes! Mission successful! Y/n shook her head in disappointment and left after saying "jerk"

Y/n POV:

Wow! Just- wow! I didn't expect that to happen. Feeling extremely exhausted, I went to the cafeteria to buy a drink. Buying an iced mocha (I'm craving for it a lot) I took a sigh of relief after taking a sip of it. Leaving the cafeteria, my eyes soon landed on Jungkook and Byeol hugging each other so.....lovingly...that also in the middle of the hallway. Why would he hug another girl like that? Specially Byeol? Just then Kai's words rang in my head.
