"Carson!"
Looking over, I saw Mr. Reeds standing at the door of the building. I stood up then dusted my hands off before walking towards him, wondering what he wanted. "Yes, sir?"
"Lunch break."
Nodding, I saw the other guys who were working give me a look as they were still working and I got called on lunch break.
I smiled at them before walking inside the building and clocking out for lunch. I grabbed my keys before walking out the building towards the parking lot to my car.
Swinging my keys around, I got into my car and started it up. I sat there for a moment as I placed my phone in the cup holder then putting my seat belt on and messing with the radio.
Driving out of the parking lot, I tried thinking of where I wanted to eat at. I knew there was a Subway around here close by and I had an hour for lunch so I couldn't go far cause that would cut down my lunch time.
Deciding on Subway, I drove down the street a little ways then pulled into the parking lot. I looked at my phone before getting out and locking my doors behind me.
I could feel my stomach growling as I walked in this smelled fresh food. I usually don't come to Subway but sometimes I do and it's worth it.
Walking up to the counter, the girl behind smiled at me before I started telling her what I wanted. I walked while talking, looking at all the ingredients that they had and feeling my stomach growl by the second.
Everything looked good and I honestly just piled stuff on my sandwich, making it a beast that I couldn't wait to shove down my throat.
After I was done, I made it to the end of the counter then she rung up my total after asking what I wanted to drink and what chips I wanted.
"Large and Lay's is fine."
I paid afterwards then smiled at her before grabbing my bag and cup then walked to the drink machines. I looked at the different options they had and picked diet coke since it looked good.
After pouring my drink, I walked around looking for a table then sat down. I was near the window and saw the street from here which was amazing.
It was such a beautiful day.
No clouds in the sky and sunny.
Cold but beautiful.
As I was enjoying the view, I ate and enjoyed my lunch break. I had a lot of cars this morning cause so many people made appointments. I had more cars than the other works cause I guess people like me better for working on their cars.
Which makes all the guys a little upset.
I'm the only girl working there and of course I'm beating their ass at working on something they know how to do.
They think just cause I'm a girl means that I don't know anything about working on vehicles. I remember when I first started and a lot of those guys were making fun of me, laughing saying that they'll teach me everything.
I showed them in a week that I can do whatever they can do and it made every single one of them shut up.
Which made Mr. Reeds very impressed and I was glad.
Finishing my lunch, I stood up then tossed the rest of the trash away before holding onto my drink and walking out the door. I looked around then up at the sky, smiling at how gorgeous today was.
Knowing that today was going to be the day that I leave Sandra.
I've been rehearsing it in my head all morning. I was working, thinking about what I was going to say and how to do it. I remember last night as I was laying in bed, I was thinking about it.
