"Carson?" I heard my name being called but I was too tired to open my eyes. I stirred a little then felt the bed move. "Carson?"
Opening my eyes, I saw Logan sitting next to me on the bed. She slightly smiled at me as I was trying to fully wake up. I stretched my arms above my head then yawned.
"Are you ok?" I look at Logan as she was looking at me. "It's past noon." She placed her arm over me then moved up a little.
"Yeah." I saw her smile as she reached up and moved the hair from my hair.
I may have flinched a little and she surely saw me but didn't move her hand away. I saw her stare at me for a few moments before smiling. "I made you breakfast.. or lunch now. I don't know."
"I'm sorry I slept so late."
"Don't be sorry." She smiles at me. "I was just worried about you. I didn't want to wake you up but since it was already past twelve, I wanted to come check on you." She looks at me for a moment. "Are you sure you're ok?"
Nodding, I slightly smile at her. "Yeah, just tired."
"How did you sleep?"
"Ok." I shrug. "I remember waking up once but I went back to sleep."
"Nightmare?"
Shaking my head, I didn't remember having a nightmare. "No, I just woke up unexpectantly."
She nods then smiles. "Well, get up when you're ready. I have food." I watch her get up then walk out the door.
I sighed then stretched a little more before moving the blanket from me then sitting up. I rubbed my face before looking down at the bag of clothes, knowing I have to get the rest later today.
That day when Kendall came, I had packed everything up but haven't put it over here yet. I told Logan about it and she said that was fine cause I wasn't sure if bringing all my clothes over here was such a good idea.
I'll have to get the rest today.
Grabbing some clothes to wear, I walked out of the room then walked to the kitchen and found Logan standing at the counter. She was leaning over a little, reading someone from a book then looked up at me once I walked in.
"Morning, sleepyhead."
"I thought it was noon."
She smiles. "It is. Are you going to take a shower?"
"Yeah. I only took one since I've been here."
I saw her nod then she smiled. "Ok. You know where it's at, right?"
"Yes." I smile then walk out of the kitchen, down the hall and to the bathroom. I really needed a shower cause I haven't took but one since I've been here.
The reason for that is because I was too scared to take one here. I felt like I shouldn't be, for some reason and I definitely didn't want to tell Logan that.
Getting in the shower, I look down at my body and saw the marks barely visible now. I smiled as it felt amazing not having scars and bruises on my body anymore to hide.
A feeling that I haven't felt in forever.
After the shower, I dried off then pulled my clothes on before wrapping my hair in the towel. I wiped the steam from the mirror and looked at myself for a moment before grabbing my dirty clothes and walking out.
I tossed them back in the bag in the room before walking out to the kitchen. I saw Logan standing at the counter again and when she looked up and saw me, I saw a smile on her face.
