"I'll probably be coming down in a few days. I'm ready to get away from here that it's driving me crazy."
I chuckle as I stepped out of my car before locking it. I look around the parking lot before walking towards the building as my phone was against my ear. "Sounds good. I miss you and can't wait to see you."
"Yeah," She sighs. "we can hang out and do things. Like sisters are suppose to do." She laughs. "Have you heard from mom and dad?"
"Not since last week. They call every chance they get. The service where they are isn't great." Walking into the building, I smelled coffee and instantly smiled as I walked towards the counter.
"It sucks how we all moved apart from each other. Is family suppose to do that?"
Looking up at the menu, I smiled at the guy who was working behind the counter. "Eventually, yeah. You grow up and move on with your life."
"I guess so. But anyways, how is life going? You're on your two week break, right?"
I smiled at the guy then ordered as I switched my phone to my other ear. "Yeah, it's been a few days and I really haven't found anything to prevent boredom." I paid him the full amount afterwards.
"Work?" She asks.
"I go back this weekend."
I walked to a table before sitting down. "Oh well.. how are things?"
"Like.. in what sense?" I ask then look around before looking at a painting on the wall.
"You and Sandra."
"We're good."
It was silence on the end for a moment. "Sure. I can see right through your lies, Carson."
I rubbed my forehead before looking down at the table. "We're.. ok. I don't know what to say."
"Mhm." I heard her sigh. "Carson.. I love you so much but you're the dumbest person ever. I mean.. why the hell would you still be with her?"
Looking over, I saw the guy call my name and I stood up. "We can talk in person when you're here.. ok? I'm getting Starbucks."
"Such a coffee addict. But ok. I love you."
"I love you too." I smiled as I grabbed my cup then walked back to the table and sat down.
After we hung up, I sighed before placing my phone on the table and picking my hot cup up then taking a long, slow sip of it. I sighed out in happiness before placing the cup down and picking my phone up from the table.
I scrolled through Instagram and looked at all the posts that were recently posted. I came across one from my girlfriend and saw that it was one of us, which she posted yesterday. I didn't see it cause I'm hardly on Instagram.
Reading the caption below it, I slightly smiled then hit the heart.
"This girl right here.. she makes me feel young again."
Scrolling down, I saw a lot from the other people I follow and hearted almost every one I saw. I kept scrolling and saw a lot of DIY videos and craft videos, which I follow.
I'm somewhat into cars, so I follow a few pages where it's nothing but cars. I liked a few before scrolling on down and seeing what else was there.
After I finished my coffee, I got up. I threw the cup away in a nearby trashcan before walking out into the somewhat cold ass weather. I pulled my jacket closer to me before walking to the parking lot.
