Shotaro POV

Shotaro slowly made his way to he and Yuta's shared room

Every step just made him feel even more sad than before

Yuta, leaving?

Even the thought made him want to cry

Slowly opening the door to his room, he saw Yuta rushing around, throwing clothes and other necessities into a suitcase on the floor

Shotaro sat on Yuta's bed, pulling his knees up to his chest, hugging his legs

"Hey Taro."

"Hey."

Yuta looked suspiciously at Shotaro, and finished up packing, seating himself beside the younger

"Something's wrong."
Yuta said, looking at Shotaro, who didn't return the gaze

"No, nothing's wrong."
Shotaro denyed, knowing good and well that Yuta could practically read minds when it came to people's moods

"Is it because I'm leaving?"
Yuta guessed

Shotaro unconsciously nodded yes

Jolting when he felt warm arms wrap around his tiny frame

Looking at Yuta who was now hugging him tightly, his head on Shotaro's shoulder

"I'm not leaving forever, I'll come back."

"But- but what'll I do while you're gone, you've been teaching me Korean, who will do that now? Who will I talk to? Who will I hang out with, everyone got someone else they're always buddy buddy with, who do I have."
The boy ranted, looking at Yuta as tears welled up in his eyes

"You know... You and Kun are talking to that kid at your school about joining, right?"

Shotaro nodded

"He's about your age."

He nodded again

"You told me his name... Uhmm what was it again?"

"Sungchan."

"Yeahhh that's it, Sungchan, if he ends up joining you could talk to him, you're basically already friends because of how much you talk at school."

Taro nodded

"I just.... I'll miss you... You rescued me from my parents, and you gave me a home, you took me in, you're like an older brother to me."

Yuta felt his heart swell with pride at the boys confession

"And you're like a brother to me Taro, thank you for letting me save you."

Shotaro was now crying freely

Yuta softly lifted his arm, and tried to wipe the tears away, they just kept falling

Shotaro hugged the older, taking in his soothing scent

He smelled like home

Like... Like something warm and cuddly on a cold winter's day
