[You are invited to a special production by the Gotham Theatre Players]

Saber observed the invitation back and front with a frown. She hadn't authorized for any play, which means no one should have had a key to the theatre in the first place. Whatever was going on, she'd received the invite directly in her mailbox, addressed to her, so she would look into it.

After walking an hour to the theatre, she let herself in and walked down the aisle toward the stage. Before she could head to the stairs, the stage lights suddenly came on. In a panic, she rushed into the seats, ducking down on high alert.

When her players filed out onto the stage, she slowly rose and properly took a seat, confused beyond reason. Then they started dancing, prancing about and gyrating. She started to laugh before Kaldur entered the spot light, along with a woman that strongly resembled her.

Her smile slowly faded as he danced with this woman before two more women appeared - doppelgängers of Tula and Jacqueline. Saber watched, bemused, as they women tried to wedge themselves between Kaldur and the women, but he shoved them away. Random men got in on the action, trying to pry the woman from Kaldur, but he knocked them out with bravado. She snorted at how terrible it was.

Then, Kaldur picked the actress up and ran off the stage with her. Saber watched avidly as he ran through the seats, right to where she was sitting. Her eyes were the sized of saucers by the time he deposited the actress in the seat beside her, picking her up and rushing back to the stage.

"K-K-Kaldur!" she stammered in a panic, but it was already too late. A flurry of players charged them all at once, but he spun her in his arms, the actors feigning being kicked in the face as they fell to the stage.

Kaldur set her down, and she grabbed his face before he could move to do anything else.

"Kaldur? What are you doing?" she asked with a widening smile.

"Well, I thought I was winning you over," he said in panting breaths. "Saber . . . I never cared about a woman the way I care about you. I've never fought so hard to prove myself to anyone," he confessed.

"Kaldur--" she began, but he pressed a finger gently to her lips.

"With you, I'll do absolutely anything for one real chance with you. I can't give up until you allow me to show you how good we could be, just once."

All the players stood and leaned in dramatically, hands anxiously clasped together. She pursed her lips together thoughtfully before smoothing a hand gently down his face, viciously grabbing his jaw and pulling him closer.

"If you really mean that, I only require a few things of you," she whispered. "Your total respect, honesty and adoration. I will not contend for these things, so be sure you're willing to offer them. Everything that is yours is mine, and in kind, my everything will belong to you."

Kaldur took both of her hands in his, dropping reverently to his knees. "Yes, my queen."

Everyone cheered around them, and she found herself blushing in embarrassment, joining him on the floor to hug him.

"Not gonna lie . . . this is quite the dazzling way to ask me out," she said, pulling away to smirk at him. "I hope it isn't all for nothing. Cause if you hurt me, you'll cease to exist."

"I know, I know," he chuckled. "You'll kill me if I break your heart--"

"No she won't. But I will."

Everyone looked to the aisle, where Scarlett was standing with a huge grin. She waved her phone toward Saber. "Got the text. Here I am~"

Kaldur's laughing quickly turned nervous, but Saber turned him to face her and kissed him tenderly.

"Don't be so worried," she assured. "So long as you remember 'communication is key', this should all go swimmingly."

"Absolutely," he agreed, stroking her cheek. "Let me start by communicating that I love you, Saber."

"I . . . I love you too, Kaldur Ahm," she replied, her entire face turning as he kissed her again, the theatre breaking into applause.
