"Have you ever been scuba diving?" Bruce asked Zane over lunch.
The question made her realize they were officially dating, and she found herself blushing and smiling like a schoolgirl.
"No. I hope you're okay with taking me?" she said, her eyes full of hope.
He grinned and nodded his head. "I'm going this weekend. Ezio is staying with his friend, so Alfred will be the only intrusion."
"Oh? Yes, I definitely want to come!"
"Good. Just remember to bring your bathing suit this time," he said with a playful wink.
Zane gasped and swatted his hand. He was never going to let her forget their skinny dipping escapades. Not that she wanted to.

Alfred drove the three of them to the diving resort, about three hours out of the city. There were so many people, Zane felt claustrophobic.
"Don't worry," Bruce assured her when he noticed her expression. "We won't be mixing with this crowd. I have my own diving boat. Once we pick it up, we'll be headed to our own little slice of Heaven."
"I almost forgot who you were," she said with a giggle, relief washing over her. "You should be more careful not to spoil me."
He chuckled as Alfred parked the car in their reserved spot. When they climbed out, everyone on the resort stopped to marvel at the legendary Bruce Wayne.
She had to admit, she enjoyed all the attention that Bruce received, given they were together. But at the same time, when people stared at her, it made her feel inadequate . . .
She knew she had no reason to feel that. Bruce was a complete gentleman to her and wasn't afraid to share his feelings with her. But there was still that little insecurity she struggled to get over, and she wondered if it would ever go away.
"Earth to Zane."
She startled at the feel of his arm around her shoulders and his lips on her temple in a gentle kiss.
"The boat is this way. Come on."
She nodded absentmindedly, noting the women glaring angrily in the distance. It amused her, but she didn't blame them. Now that she was here, it was hard to imagine that she had ever been like them at one point.
Once they arrived, excitement bubbled uncontrollably as she laid eyes on Bruce's diving boat - courtesy of Wayne Enterprises. Bruce led her onboard while Alfred put up their things. He took her on the grand tour of the marvelous vessel, and it was even grander than she could have ever imagined. The lush cabin was her favorite part, where Bruce promised her alluring things would occur . . .
Before long, the boat left the docks and sailed out into the grand sea. She was relieved it was just the three of them and she wouldn't have to suffer a tour guide or some other intrusive variable. Alfred knew how to make himself scarce just the right amount.
"Would you like to meet a shark?" Bruce asked as he unpacked her belongings.
"Yes!" she said without hesitation, her heart racing.
"Good," he said with an amused smile. "A lot of women would have taken off swimming back to the resort at such a suggestion, but it'll be fun and completely safe."
"I'm not worried," she grinned, and he held out her bathing suit to her.
"Good. Get changed."
They appeared on deck just as Alfred placed the finishing touches on their observation cage.
