On Saturday afternoon, the guys were the first to arrive at the beach. Alfred chauffeured Bruce and Ezio, while Kaldur drove everyone else in the van. The day had the perfect balance of hot sun and refreshing ocean breeze.

"I can't believe we're all at the beach together!" exclaimed Ezio. "It's a dream come true! I can't wait for Scarlett to get here!"

"I'm sure she'll be here momentarily," Alfred assured. "Don't wander too far. You know where to find me when you get hungry."

Ezio saluted him before taking his belongings toward the boardwalk.

"It's hotter than I thought it would be," Kaldur huffed, wiping his brow. "The water better be extra cold."

"Just stay out of the direct sunlight and you'll be fine," Wally snickered.

Conner growled suddenly, staring irately at the road.

"What's up, buddy?" Richard asked cautiously.

Conner's gaze snapped towards Kaldur, grilling him as he gazed back in confusion.

"Didn't you say the girls were coming?" he grit out.

"Saber said they agreed," he answered, glancing at the watch Zane gave him. "She didn't mention when they'd get here, though."

Evidently, that answer didn't suffice, and they steeled themselves for Conner's rage.

"Wait!" Wallly blurted, pointing to the road. "There they are!"

They turned as the familiar van pulled up, parking behind theirs. Desiree exited and sprinted right into Wally's waiting arms.

"Hey, sexy!" she greeted, locking lips. He squeezed her waist tightly before she broke their kiss. "I've missed you!"

"No kidding," he purred, staring lovingly into her eyes. "Let's go find ourselves a good spot."

Divya stepped out just as Richard approached the passenger door.

"Hello, Divya. Long time, no speak."

"I've been busy," she replied bluntly, obverting him from head to toe.

"I figured as much," he grinned. "Any word from Nizhoni?"

"Why? Was someone like you expecting one?" she growled challengingly.

He couldn't stifle the chuckle that escaped him. She was clearly unaware that he knew the truth about her, and her obvious annoyance was too rich.

"Not at all. I'll help you with your things," he said, extending a hand.

Zane stepped out and was immediately crowded by Bruce and his luminous smile. She blushed helplessly, wondering where all her boldness from before had deserted her to. He smirked knowingly as he took her hand and kissed her knuckles.

"Hello, beautiful. It's a pleasure to see you again."

"L-likewise," she replied, quickly taking her hand back.

What did she do now? Hug him? Kiss him? She would love to kiss him, but that wouldn't be appropriate for friends. Or acquaintances. What were they, anyway?

Zain, Saber and Scarlett were the last to emerge from the van.

"Alright, Saber," Zain said near her ear, "it's time to employ everything we've taught you."

"There's nothing to be afraid of. You're officially a silk sister," Scarlett added.

Saber shuddered unpleasantly, recalling how the pair had held her down and literally waxed every inch of her body.
