Haunted memories

Scorpious's POV

We talk a lot about our classes and grades. Father then talks more about his work. Estrella on the other hand she keeps asking if father and Arabelle have gone another dates or not. I too excited to listen about their relationship. "So father do you ever plan to marry her?" Estrella asked dad cheekily. "Ella sweetheart I've been dating her for 5 months. But we are getting more serious. She invites me to come over to her cottage meeting her mother." Father said. Estrella and I looked at each other knows what we want to say.. "CAN WE COME? CAN WE COME? CAN WE COME?" We asked eagerly. "OKAY, OKAY" He answered us laughing. "But behave okay?" He said looking at Estrella. "What?" She asked. "Father means you especially with your outdoor voice." I said to her she then roll her eyes. "Fine."

Grandmother was the first to wish us home. While our grandfather waits for us in the living room. "Welcome home." He greet us reading a book. "Hi grandfather how are you?" I asked him he nods just fine. Estrella and I get upstairs and unpack our bags. We then get ready to go out meeting Arabelle for dinner.

"Say hello to Arabelle for me Draco." Grandmother said. "I wish you can join too mother." Father tell her but grandmother has to stay because grandfather doesn't want to go.

After an hour drive we arrive at a small but beautiful cottage.

She has a beautiful home. Must be nice and calm to stay in a cottage with forest nearby. "I already love her home." Estrella said. Father walk to the door and knock it. She then answer it and father kiss her and hugs her. Estrella and I hugs her she always have that cheerful smile that I adore. "You two look amazing. I am glad you both like to join." She said to us. Then suddenly father was knocked down by a dog. The dog keeps licking father's face. "You have a pet dog?" I asked her. "Oh yeah her name is willow. Get off the guest willow." She said get her off father. I help father up. "She likes you Draco." Estrella laughed.

We then walk in and it's just a small space but simple decoration.

"I love your house. It's beautiful." I compliment it to her. She smiles and thanked me. "Thank you. My mother is a talented woman when it comes to decorating." She said then she remembered something. "I'll go fetch my mother. " She said and welcome us to sit on the couch. Estrella pull my sleeve and points at a photograph.

"I wonder if this was her sister." She asked then father looks at it closely. "There are some similarities." Then Arabelle push her mother who is sitting on the wheelchair. "Mum this is my boyfriend, Draco Malfoy and these are his kids, Scorpious and Estrella." She introduced us to her. "Nice to meet you Mrs Forter." Father said to her she smiles and nods. "It's nice to meet you too and you have lovely children. Please have yourself a few tea and biscuits." She said to us. She looks so fragile.

Draco's POV

"Dinner was delicious love." I said to her. Helping her clear the table while my children look at the photographs with Mrs. Forter. "Thank you Draco. I do hope your children enjoyed it." She said to me I nod at her convincing her of course they enjoy it. "Your mother seems so nice." I said. "She always want to have grandchildren." She said pulling my shirt into a kiss. Her lips are so soft, gentle but it feels so warm.

We both walk into the living room and sit down with them. "This was Arabelle's 5 year old birthday with her sister." Mrs Forter said. "Aww you look adorable dear." I said she blush and just stares down. Then the grandfather clock rang it's 9 o'clock sharp. "Arabelle get me into my room and take this album away." She said almost aggressive. Arabelle push the wheelchair into her bedroom. "That's a bit weird. She was all cheerful then become stern." Estrella said wondering what happened.

When she walks back in the living room Scorpious ask what's wrong with her mother. "The day my mum was in the car accident, the doctor announced her legs are paralyzed she can't able to walk." I look at her confused. "What does that have to do with this?" Estrella said. "The time she heard that terrible news, it was 9 o'clock sharp at night." I feel bad for the woman like her. "Then the day I lost my sister, the doctor announced her death on 9 pm sharp. It was horrible. My mum thinks it's a haunted time. She never believe in it but until she lost my sister she start to become like this. I've tried to let her forget about it but she just won't." Estrella looks at her and hugs her. I've never seen Estrella hug anyone other than a family member. "I'm so sorry it must be hard for you." She said to Arabelle. "It's alright. I'm just happy my mother is still enjoying life with me." She tells us.  "What happened to.your sister anyways?" Scorpious asked. "I don't know. She just passed out. She was only 17 and I was 15." She looks down then back at me. "Well it's getting late. Come on kids say goodbye." I said to them. They both hug and wish Arabelle goodnight. "Goodnight darling. Take care of yourself and your mother." I wished her. I kiss her goodnight. She smiles and waves goodbye as we drive away.

I drive home suddenly the manor's entrance door was unlocked. Mother always lock the doors and windows when it's only two of them. I sense there's a danger in the house. "Scorpious get your sister in the car and whatever happens, drive as fast as you can." I said to him sternly. "But father-" I cut him off "Do as I said Scorpious." He grabs Estrella's wrist and get into the car. I walk in with my wand ready. I heard a loud crash upstairs. I text Harry quick.

Harry, get to the Manor quick. My house was broke in and it's a mess. I can't find my parents get here quick.

I run up once I heard a scream. My mother was tied on the floor. I untied her and sit her up. "Mother? Mum? Wake up." I lay her gently and keep searching for my father. Then I heard a breathing behind me. "Crucio!" The curse hits me. I lay down hurt. It was uncle Rudolphus. I send a light out the house as a sign for Scorpious to drive away. I heard the car drive away. "Good son." I whisper. "Where are your kids nephew?" He asked me grabbing my hair and point the wand at my neck. "I won't tell you! You will not touch them!"  "Fine then! Cruci-" I free myself by pushing him away. "PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" I point at him but missed then a black smoke appear near me. I pass out on the floor when someone or something hit my head. Before I passed out the last thing I heard was my father.

Estrella POV

The last thing I saw at the Manor was father's emergency light. Scorpious immediately turn and drive away. "Where will we go?!" I yelled at him. "I don't know but we have to get out here quick." I begin to worry about father. "But we can't let dad alone! We have to go back!" I told him but he keeps driving. "We'll go to dad's work place it will be safe for us." He said but I can't help crying out father. Please please let him be okay. I can't loose a father too.

When we arrive, Scorpious and I hold hands quickly run up to the building. We found Blaise Zabini. "Malfoys? You two look scare is everything okay? Where's your father?" He asked. Scorpious explains to him. "Go into your father's office. I'll send up few aurors to protect both of you. I'll go to the Manor." He said then an auror bring us up to dad's office. I sit down the couch and start to panic what will happen to father, grandmother and grandfather? Please let them be safe. Please don't let him leave us. I prayed and let my breathing steady.
