Levi's Kid

As the door to the meeting room opened, silence was met with overwhelming sounds. There were many people there and seated on a chair at the very far end of the room was Kevin's father, Levi Ackerman, humanity's strongest, Captain of the Scout Regiment.

With every step that Commander Erwin took, silence started to fall until it was so quiet that you could even hear a pin drop.
This silence was broken by Kevin's delightful squeal as he broke free of Erwin's grip and rushed forth to fall in his father's arms.

"Daddy ! "

Levi was strict about not letting Kevin out alone at this hour but seeing that he was with Commander Erwin cooled his anger down.

" Hey, what are you doing here ?"

Asked Levi kissing Kevin on his forehead and then he exchanged confused looks with Commander Erwin.

"Appearantly hunger and I, we both brought him here." Commander Erwin said.

"Looks like the hunger monster came a little early tonight cause you just had dinner a couple hours ago."

Levi smiled while tickling Kevin's tummy.

"Sto-ho-op ! D-Daddy stop !" Kevin giggled and tried to hold Levi's hands.

The only time Captain Levi smiled or seemed to be happy was when Kevin was around. Everyone was scared of him because he was strict, stern and conservative. He was harsh on Kevin too sometimes but from the inside he was a loving father who adored his son more than anything else in the entire world.

" Soldiers, before the meeting, upon the request of some senior members of the regiment, I would like you all to accompany me for a dinner tonight. Well, this might be the last peaceful dinner we have together as a complete team because tomorrow, the training will officially start and under the current circumstances that we're facing, I'm afraid I'll have to commence the mission to retake Wall Maria soon." Announced Commander Erwin.

"What's he saying Daddy ? " Asked Kevin.

" Nothing, just some stuff related to training. "

Kevin slipped away from Levi's arms and went over on the other side where the young cadets were.

"Hello Kevin ! " Said Armin, delighted to see him.

"Hello !"

"Come here you lil monkey ! Looks like you've forgotten all about what happened this morning !"

Said Connie joking around as he held both of Kevin's shoulders bringing him near and shaking him.

"You told Daddy about it and he smacked me right here."

Said Kevin pointing towards his bum.

Everyone sitting around the table smiled and chuckled.

"Now you won't put salt in my shorts because Daddy has already punished me."

"What's going on ? Will somebody tell us too ?" Asked Eren confusingly.

"Yeah I'll explain." Said Connie.

" No ! I will ! " Said Kevin.

"I'll explain !"

"No I will ! "

" What's going on at the back ? We're discussing something really important here, please remain calm !" Bellowed Commander Erwin.

"I'm gonna explain Kevin, you better keep quiet." Connie whispered.

"Alright."

"So I was taking a quick shower this morning after the training ended and my clothes were outside on my bunkbed. This little monkey sneaked inside and sprinkled salt in my pyjamas...."

Jean got up and went over to the water cooler to have some water while Connie continued. Kevin observed Jean and kept an eye on him.

"...When I came out of the shower, I wore my clothes and I swear I didn't feel a thing then..."

As soon as Jean was about to sit, Kevin creeped up from behind and pulled his chair back. Jean fell down with a great thud hitting the back of his head on of the chair's legs.

"...but when ! Shoot what happened ! " Shouted Connie.

"Ow !! Damn ! " Screamed Jean rubbing his head.

All heads in that room turned towards the back.

Jean turned around to see Kevin running away and he screamed, " Kevin !! I'm not gonna spare you !! " And he stood up and started to run after Kevin.

"What's going on ? " Asked Commander Erwin loudly.

Levi stood up and started to walk in their direction.

"Come on guys ! Just stop already ! " Said Hanji standing up too.

But the two of them didn't care and kept running till Kevin crashed into something and fell on the ground. He stood up rubbing his backside and looked up to see his father staring gravely at him. Levi put up a hand towards Jean and stopped him from coming any further.

"What happened Jean ? " Asked Levi in a deep voice without looking away from Kevin.

"He pulled my chair out and I hit my head !" Replied Jean and he stroked the back of his head with his fingers and showed Levi some blood tricking down.

"Why did you pull his chair out ? "

Silence.

"I said why did you pull his chair out ?!" Levi said banging his hand down on the table where the commander and senior members of the regiment were seated.

"C-cause it's f-fun..."

Levi dug his face into his hand and mumbled, " Apologize."

" Sorry Jean."

"Go to you room." Said Levi, his face still in his hand.

"But I sai-"

"To your room ! Now !"

Levi brushed his hair aside and pointed towards the door.

"But I -"

"Enough ! " Said Levi taking Kevin's hand and rushing out of the door.
