Ire, bewilderment, envy and a sickening, an almost palpable urgency to have the scene before him disappear possessed his whole being.
His mind, utterly consumed with voices, was no longer in his control.
Kill, Kill, Kill, Mine, Mine, Mine.
It chanted in his head like a ritual, overwhelming him completely.
A distinct, small voice in his head he couldn't quite hear, yet barely managed to decipher it's pleading words as it whispered,
Relax, Relax, Relax, Breathe, Breathe, still yours, still yours.
Albeit, it was small. Nowhere as near as powerful, lacking the enthusiasm of the voices that demanded he moved. Demanded he eliminated the being that dared take what was rightfully his, a part of him, his other half.
Rage pulsed through his veins and quickened his blood at the sight.
He could faintly see the mixed look of confusion, increasingly rising to fear on his soulmate's face as he stood up.
Bright was already on the move, in front of them in nearly seconds. Driven by adrenaline, driven by the electrifying currents his mark shot through his body, encouraging him to move and display his wrath.

"Oh Bright you're here." The smugness of Elijah's voice, only egged him on.

Before anyone even had a chance to predict the calamity that would soon take place, Bright had already made his move, springing his weight on Elijah's body as he took him to the ground. His fist met the boy's face unapologetically, as he smiled sadistically though his administration.

Pain

That's what he wanted Elijah to feel, he only began feeling satisfied when blood trickled down his knuckles on to the boy's face, contorted with pain.
The screams of staff calling for help were a muffle to his ears.
He only struck harder at the sound of the boy's pained groans.

Win was on the ground, trembling uncontrollably. It was as if his body wasn't under his control, his heart beat pounded at an almost abnormal pace. His vision blurry, from what exactly was unknown to him. Unshed tears? Or perhaps the perspiration that rolled down his forehead at the sight before him and what could still be yet to come.
He was impelled to focus all his attention on the voices in his head that taunted him, screamed their disapproval.
Berated his whole existence for being impudent enough as to dare upset he who made their existence complete. The half that possessed ascendency, to which he was obligated to revere in return.
Without complaint or any ounce of irresolution.

what are you doing? He's angry.YOU upset him. upset him. your fault.your fault.
The words reverberated in his mind, with such intensity he was sure they'd be engraved on his skull if it ever came to an end.

His body was suddenly shook, a figure standing over him, trembling themselves in trepidation.
"Win! Fuck, get up! You have to do something!" Reece called out to him urgently, but Win couldn't move, he was physically unable of putting words together.

my fault.my fault.me.

"Fuck, fuck, what do I do?"

Reece, still crouched in front of him, drew in a breath, arm swung back. He tried looking for Cara, but she had already left for security. Perhaps if he possessed the IQ of a somewhat, intellectual, he'd have come up with a far more effective resolution.
Nudging his thoughts aside, he sighed at his predicament.

"I'm sorry if this hurts." The pain hit him harder than he thought it would but it succeeded in bringing him out of his reverie.
He lifted his head, relief clear in the latter's eyes as he stared at his hands almost pleased with himself.

"Win you have to-" Win got up, pushing Reece aside in time to pose as an impediment for Bright, who had his fist raised in preparation to strike.

Win wasted no time, immediately pulling the scarlet eyed boy into his arms whispering an abode of reassurance in his ear.
Bright felt himself still at the sudden warmth that invaded his body in waves. Just the presence of his soulmate was enough to calm him dramatically.
