"I'm sorry, who?" Bright squinted his eyes, trying to recall the name.
" Win Metawin."
" I heard you the first time! Now tell me Dean, why the fuck do I not know who this guy is. I haven't even heard of him before so clearly, he isn't that relevant." Bright huffed, rolling his eyes.
Perhaps they made a mistake, or Maybe Dean made a mistake. That's right, Bright had already thought of hiring a new manager. It had been two months since Tay had assigned Dean to him and the guy was a complete mess.
"You've been in America for a couple of months now and... B-bright, the thing is. I-I was meaning to inform you of something since this morning." He rubbed his neck nervously.
"Well? what is it, Dean. I'm already fucking pissed, I don't have all day." Bright waved at Dean to continue.
" They've counted the votes for this season and y-you're second." Dean squinted his eyes shut in fear of the boy's response."Who bet me?" Bright said, voice dripping with venom.
"Win, Win Metawin."
"Get out."
"Bright don't worry-"
" I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT, "Bright yelled hysterically, his voice resonating around the building as Astrovelence staff began unsubtly peeking through the glass window at the loud commotion.
Bright closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down as he heard the door shut seconds later.ooOOoo
Bright was brought out of his thoughts at the boy's presence.
There he was the guy who Bright despised most in this world. Win Metawin.
He walked casually in the room, his high top Dr Martens trudging against the floor as they made contact with the marble floors.
He ran his fingers through his hair, ignoring the flashes of cameras and squeals from the women who appeared twice his age.
Bright let his eyes broad over the boy's figure, he wore an open denim Balenciaga jacket that sat loosely on his figure, although he hated to admit it. Bright approved of the way it complimented his shirt underneath. The white tee hugged his skin tightly, hard muscles visible beneath. His black jeans almost stuck to his thighs as they strained against his hamstrings.
Win removed his shades before tucking them inside of his jacket pocket.
Their eyes met almost instantaneously, Bright felt anger seep through his body at Win's Scruitinising stare.
"Win this is Bright, you haven't met before but I'm sure you both are well are of each other's existence."" Of course I have, it's a pleasure to finally meet you Bright." Win sang the older's name tauntingly. The antagonism was clear between them, all the crew could do was watch anxiously as they took as many pictures as their camera rolls' could hold.
Bright clenched his jaw, furious.
Bright and Win had established their dislike towards one another after Bright had let the words "pretentious" and "arrogant" escape him when describing Win on some interview with Achara.
Although Bright knew he was being unreasonable since he hadn't even met Win at the time.
He couldn't help but let his envy for the boy's success take over.
After all, Bright was supposed to be number 1, he had been executively for the last 3 years and he hadn't expected that to change.
Bright knew he was wrong but refused to express any form of regret for his indecency. Tay demanded that he publicly apologise to Win.He had considered complying, that was until he came across Win's response to Bright's rebuke on Twitter.
"and that my friends, is a perfect visual representation of what jealousy does to you."Although the tweet may have been indirect, fans of both Bright and Win had almost instantly connected the dots.
Although the tweet seemed almost hilarious to him now, at the time he had felt chagrined, and couldn't believe Win had the audacity to relegate him.
That was not only the beginning of the hostility between them but also the start of rivalry between the two fanbases.
