"Bright?"
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" The boy bellowed, immediately feeling irritated by the calmness of the latter's tone.
"Bright," Win sighed, sounding exhausted "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Why would you say that to my aunt? You're really okay with me and Devine being together?!"Win bit his lip, glaring at the coffee table as Cara watched him with curious eyes.
"I don't care." He said, sounding nonchalant. He felt Cara's eyes on him as his nails dig into the armrest of the couch.
Win heard a frustrated exhale of air before he was welcomed with complete silence.
Win closed his eyes, growing anxious.
He felt his heart pound uncontrollably as the boy on the other end chuckled.
"Is that so?" Win inhaled, his lips pressing together to form a tight line.
"Okay then Win, if you say so." He opened his mouth to speak, the familiar beeping sound haulting him from doing so.
"Win?" The boy looked up, meeting the girl's eyes as she crossed her arms.
"Well, what did Bright have to say?" Win looked down, fixating his attention on light grey sweater.
"Gee, I really do love polyester." He chuckled, ignoring the daggers she shot at him at his poor change of subject.
"You never tell me anything." She sighed, sounding dejected.
"It was nothing important!" She shook her head before rolling her eyes.
"It was just Bright being Bright."
ooOOoo
"Fuck him." He whispered to himself, still staring at his phone.
"Bright, what's going on between you and Win?"The couch cushion beside him sunk under weight.
"Nothing." He said, eyes still narrowed on his phone screen that seemed to lighten up here and there from a notification.
"Seriously? You aren't going to tell me, your best friend!" The boy gasped, feinting hurt.
Bright clenched his jaw, raising a hand before greeting the boy's administration with a middle finger.
"Fuck off Reece." Reece chuckled, somehow still able to find humour in the situation.
Reece laughed the boys aggressive temperament off before his eyes widened in recollection.
"Fuck, I forgot to tell you. I heard Elijah's back from America!"
Bright furrowed his eyebrows. "What the fuck? Why is that dickhead in Thailand!" Glimpses of his time in America crossed his mind in waves.
Elijah, ridiculing him.
Elijah stealing his pontential one night stand.
Elijah taking his brand deals.
"You think you're some big shot? Listen here Bright, you might be something in Thailand. But here, you aren't relevant enough to be the chewing gum under my shoe. Fuck off back to Thailand."
"I heard he got offered a spot in Astrovelence by Tay." After hearing seeing skin meet hard wood once more, Reece to that as his clue to leave."Ight dude, I'll leave you to your misery. Also look at the bright side you're partnered with Win which means you'll barely have to come across him." He grinned, sounding as optimistic as ever.
"What do you mean "barely have to come across him? We're in the same company dumbass!"Recent shrugged before flicking the boy off.
"Whatever I'm leaving, but if you need anything just give me a call." He stood up as Bright's pupils dilated.
"Wait, I need something!"
ooOOoo"Have you been eating meat lately?" Dr Carson clasped his knee, one leg over another.
"Um..." Win scratched his neck trying to recall what his diet consisted of in the past week.
"Does seafood pizza count?" The man chuckled and Win instantly felt at ease, he always felt constricted in front of such, well "educated people" so to speak.
"Well, Mr Metawin it seams you're deficient in iron." Win bit his lip before nodding his head in connizance.
He wasn't about to lie to his health doctor, he was eating less meat. Which was quite unusual since he loved meat.
"I recommend you to incorporate red meat into your diet," The man then paused, looking Win up and down before nodding to himself. "Or if you are looking to exclude meat from your diet you could have nuts, seeds, dried fruit or leafy vegetables." Win nodded his head despite himself. He wasn't about to begin eating grass simply because he was a little busier then usual.
"Okay, thanks. I don't have a problem with eating meat though, I've just had a packed schedule lately."
Win watched as the Dr nodded his head in acknowledgement before his fingers began working on the keyboard.
There was a few moments of silence as Carson reached out his hand, the printer ejecting documents on cue.
"Other than that, your health seams to be at an optimal standard. These are the results for your health tests and this-"
A frantic nock on the door caused both heads to turn.
"Yes, you may come in." Cara enters the room immediately drawing their attention.
Her apprehensive gaze cuts over him, her teeth grazing over her bottom lip.
"I'm sorry to intrude but we must cut this appointment short. Mr Metawin is needed immediately." Win almost cringed at the use of honorific. It was quite a scarce appearance, yet Cara had claimed before that it was necessary in front of people that have some what of an authority.
Win felt something akin to anxiousness coil in the pit of his stomach. He had only ever seen Cara like this when Eric Damon had criticised his outfit choice on twitter.
"Oh yes, of course. We were right about finished anyway." Carson handed Win the documents, which Cara immediately snatched from his fingers.
"Thank you for your time Doctor." Cara didn't wait for a response as she gripped onto Win's arm with her free hand and led him out of Carson's office.
"Cara, what the hell is going on?" Win pried his arm out of her grasp, haulting her admission to the car.
She lifted her eyes to meet his questioning gaze before observing their surroundings.
"Win we can't fucking do this here. We don't need another scandal."
"Wait, is that Win Metawin?"
