Be My BEST Friend (2)

Mid-week

Daoming Si had requested Mr Chu to prepare 3 boxes of simple but tasty pack lunches to take to school today.

He arrived early and in very good mood this morning.

"AhSi, you looking very cheerful today. Has anything happened yesterday that we didn't know of?" as usual MeiZuo put his nosey business cap on play already.

"Well, you could say that! I just glad I cleared  the air for sure, no  more misunderstanding, no harm done". he replied happily.

The other three just cheering on him.

"Well done AhSi, so you are okay with Yuanzi now?" Ximen try confirmed it.

Daoming Si raised his eyebrows ", who's talking about that girl?!"

"Ah never mind — stop picking on me. Let's talk about something else! Lei how is your situation with Teng?"

At lunch time.

"Guys, I need to give this first, ....you all go ahead to cafeteria, I'll catching up later", he dashed off out the classroom leaving them no chance to say anything.

"What the heck, he's done it again". MeiZuo shocked.

" His ankle must be getting better now, he can walk that fast". Lei commented.

"Well, at least something good we know of " Ximen chuckled.

Meanwhile Daoming Si was waiting somewhere not really outside her classrooms, but close enough to see if Shancai and XiaYou coming out from their classroom or not.

When he saw XiaYou walking out on her own, he puzzled. [Why she's not with XiaYou? Perhaps she's staying in her classroom for lunch. She probably don't walk to walk too much. Good thing I I brought her some lunches ]

Awkwardly he's walking toward XiaYou.

"hi XiaYou, is Shancai staying in her classroom for lunch? " asked Daoming Si.

"Oh, hi AhSi, you okay? Shancai? No, she still not back to school yet today". XiaYou answered him  not very happy.

"Is she not? !!! But she said,... well yesterday she said she would. I don't understand. Is her condition have got worsened since yesterday? " he's feeling confused and disappointed at the same time.

"I guessed not. Not that . She messaged me this morning, she said she was ready to go, but her mother not letting her go by bus on her own yet. Not allowing her travel by herself until she fully recovered. I suppose Ayi is right, it makes sense. How about if she missed her step when she's getting off the bus." said XiaYo thoughtfully, she didn't notice the annoyed expression on Daoming Si's face.

[I knew it, stubborn girl. I should've pick her up this morning whether she said yes or no. She is lacking of judgement] Daoming Si felt like kicking himself.

"I see, so where are you going now?" Daoming Si asked.

"Me? I am going to the baking club, you know every Wednesday lunch time we are running the club. Although Shancai not in today, I still going to run it. Maybe just making some basic recipes. Some other girls and few boys already waiting for me, I better go now."

"Alright, perhaps you do with some lunches. I brought 3 boxes. You can share with the others, plenty enough ", he offered.

"how about yourself?" XiaYou wondered.

"I am going to cafeteria meeting the boys, I will have lunch with them, so have these!" He handed the boxes to her then walked out.

I will not listening to any her threats anymore.

I will make my own judgment from now on.
