Monday Afternoon

"Shancai, where were you?" the almighty Daoming Si asked the shocking face Shancai who just walking out her class.

Why this guy here ... outside my class.

"What, what do you mean? Where was I? "repeating Shancai confused.

"I was here. In my biology class lesson". replied Shancai.

"I meant, where were you at lunch time? You weren't at cafeteria" AhSi asked again with annoying voice because Shancai didn't understand what he meant.

"I, ....I was with XiaYou" said Shancai still confused.

(This conversation is going nowhere AhSi thought frustratedly )

"Shancai, if you listen, I am asking WHERE not with WHOM" AhSi surprised to find some patience still left at him. Normally he would shouting and yelling at others who didn't get his message.

"And why is that? was it wrong? Is anything happened in the school?" Shancai starting to get worry now. Plus some other students now watching them. Wondering what's going on. It's unusual to see the senior popular guy from above wandering around their classroom. Shancai incredibly nervous.

"no, not of course not. Nothing like that. It just why didn't you go to cafeteria and why didn't you have lunch. Don't you need to eat?". Blubbered  AhSi.

( brilliant! Stupid question AhSi. How embarrassed. I should come here with Ximen or Lei, they for sure knew what question to ask. But I don't want they teasing me about my curious about tiny girl. I don't know the answer either. I should prepared much  better)

"But, I did have lunch with XiaYou. I always bring pack lunch from home. I rarely went to cafeteria for lunch. That's why I can save some money". Shancai answered with more confident now, hope this awkward conversation ended.

She started walking and leaving AhSi wordless.

"See you later AhSi , bye-bye" Shancai said hurriedly.

"Bye -bye" AhSi sighed feeling defeated.

Earlier that day.

AhSi POV:

I couldn't wait for the bell ring for lunch time. I almost dragged Ximen from his seat to go to the cafeteria with me. He wondered why I so eager. I just said I was too hungry and didn't have breakfast this morning.

The other 2, Lei and MeiZuo usually followed us anyway.

I deliberately chosed to sit on the table closer to the door. I ordered most of the food from the menu, except deserts. I really did not fond of sweet stuffs.

I ate very quick much to surprise to the others. What they didn't know I was too excited, I need to hide my excitement.

Half time of the lunch break, she still not here.

Where is she? Now everyone already finished their foods. MeiZuo asked that we leave and going to the school park, the place we usually hang out.

I must think of something, an excuse to stay in the cafeteria.

This is not me at all, but I said I still hungry and I get up to order some desserts, an awful caramel pudding with chocolate sauce. I hated it. I forced to eat it. Shancai what did you done to me.

Luckily my gank still not aware what was going on in head. They keep chatting and laughing. I laughed with them even though I didn't hear what the jokes was.

I was getting restless, my eyes keep watching the door, wishing Shancai walking through and order some food.

10 minutes before lunch time finished.

I surrendered with my thought. She's not coming here. She's not having lunch.

Here I am too full, on the verge of sick.

Shancai POV:

I couldn't wait for the lunch break.

XiaYou and I always bring something we cooked at home on Monday then we share.

Yesterday I baked cheese and tomatoes quiche. Also making some strawberries pudding. It's her favourite.

As soon as the bell ring, we rushed to school back garden. Lucky we arrived early, no one sitting in our bench. We said our bench, because that where our special place. Under the tree, rather secluded from the other benches.

She brought some salmon sushi and some Japanese green tea motchi.

Perfect, I love sushi and everything seafood.

While we enjoyed our lunch, I told her about Daoming Si party invitation.

She was wondering too, very surprised that he invited them again. However she agreed that probably those rich popular kids like F4 throwing parties anytime they like. So it wasn't a big deal at all.

XiaYou said she would accompany her again to AhSi's house party.

Shancai and XiaYou then went on to talk about their plan for Baking Club for Wednesday as normal.
