Lunches with the Boys

Daoming Si still walk her to her classroom, even though Shancai keep pushing him away.

He really wanted to make sure she's fine, beside he wanted to proved to her mother, that he is a trusted person. Being responsible, a man of his words.

This kind of feeling just recently appearing , he wonder is it the sign of maturity?

He waited to see her entering her classroom,  when he saw her frowning, he walk straight to her, " what's wrong? "

" XiaYou not here yet, she always early. She almost never late. I didn't message her this morning to tell her that I am back today. I was planning to surprise her. Now, I am the one who's  surprised." she disappointed.

" I'll ring her now. "

" hi XiaYou, ...Where are you? Yes, I'm back to school! What... , you are not going to school today? Is he okay? Oh right. Please give my regards to him. Hope he's getting better soon ".

Shancai ended the call, and looking at Daoming Si.

"Lin Zhao ge, her only brother got high fever. Their parents can't leave their works. XiaYou staying at home today, to look after him. "

" I see. You know her family and him well ".

" Yes, she's my friend since elementary school. Her brother just like my own brother too, he is very kind guy."

Daoming Si's knew it he is going to dislike that guy already, no matter how nice he is.

"Shancai, because Xiaoyou not here,  I'll accompany you for lunch today. Only it's have to be at the cafeteria. I forgot to bring the lunches. I'll get you here at lunchtime, just wait, okay".

Shancai suddenly realised how many pairs of eyes starring at them, she doesn't want to start any rumour, so quickly saying, " no. No need, l'll meet you at the cafe".

"Right! If you don't come, I'll coming and get you." he pretended to threaten her, but of course he was not.

He must play his card right or he could scared  her away.

All he wants is her trust and friendship.

Yes, friendship. Platonic relationship.

Nothing wrong with friendship with different gender. 

I learned a lots about the  different side of me, the things I don't find with my close friends with the boys. Daoming Si thought.

At lunch time at the cafeteria.

"We can't sit in our usual table today". AhSi said.

"We need a bigger table, or I will get us another chair!" he added .

"but why? You usually get annoyed if others crashing in our table. If we're taking the table of six, bound to be someone will joining us. It's like an open invitation ". Ximen tried to remind him.

"Yes, it is an open and closed invitation. It was open and I closed it, because it's reserved already.' he chuckled and rather amused with his own joke.

No one finding it funny, because none of them understood.

Nevertheless, they followed him. They sat on the longer table, with originally 6 chairs, but AhSi moved one of the chair out.

The other 3 didn't say anything, they're just get in the queue for the food, while Daoming Si still sitting down on her own.
