Be My BEST Friend (2)

Tuesday Lunch

"AhSi, where you going?!" Ximen shouted.

AhSi rushed off his chair soon the lunch break time bell ring.

"Are you going to the cafeteria?! Are you really that hungry!!?" MeiZuo tried to catch him before AhSi really have left.

"Yeah, see you there!"AhSi yelled back.

"How strange, he is weird. That we know, but today he is the weirdest state since we ever known him for long time. I never knew him so hungry at lunch time, like he doesn't have breakfast. Does he in growing spurt again? " Lei mumbled confused looking at the others F4.

"I agreed,  something  definitely happened to him. Maybe we should  ask him later. Let's go to the cafe. I am starving too now". Ximen said and the others followed without saying anything.

Meanwhile, AhSi  walking very fast away from the school to the less crowded area, in the back school building. He knows usually not many student going there. He didn't feel like to face the talking and questions about that Yuanzi girl. He had enough.

He is not hungry and just rather be alone at the moment.

When he reached the area green area, behind the tree, he heard some voices people talking, laughing and giggling away. He frowned . How annoying!

Uh— there are pupils already here. Girls, yes at least two girls. He thought.

How many will come here later. 

So this area not as quiet as he would hope so. He decided to leave and thinking going to library instead, but then he heard the louder girl shouted,

" So Shancai , what's you bring today?"

AhSi gasped, not dare to move or even to breath, I can't effort to make a noise.

She is here!

Shancai and XiaYou made a pact , every Tuesday is their Healthy Packed lunch day!

Their lunches must consists of Vegetables and Fruit only. Meats free day.

Like vegetarians type kind of lunch, cheese is okay but no bread allowed . So sandwich was definitely out of the menus. They wanted to challenge themselves with ideas of different type food from around the world.

"so Shancai, what's you bring today?" XiaYou asked enthusiastically.

"Guess, haha! Surprise surprise,  our favourite Mediterranean salad again, tomatoes, cucumber and feta cheese with lemon and olive oil drizzles. I love Mediterranean cuisines.  It supposed to be good for you too. I added iceberg lettuce and yellow peppers to bulky up... And what about you? " Shancai try to peek on her friend lunch box.

"Oh, I brought some selections of fruits. I can't decide . Here peaches, mango, raspberries, and pears. They looked lovely colours. Also some nuts, pecan, walnuts and cashew nuts. And for dessert, I bring medjool dates. " added  XiaYou.

"Wow, interesting! We will not gonna be hungry today!" Shancai replied happily.

"Let's eat!"

They both then started munching and chatting away.

(Little  did they know, someone listened carefully. Probably trying too hard to memorise all those food been mentioned. Is she a vegetarian? I never thought she is. She did eat all the foods at Ximen's party, I am very sure. Since when she became vegetarians?)

Well, at least I know now. The most important thing , I know where she is during lunch time. AhSi talked to himself , feeling much better. He stayed there and listened to Shancai's voice  for sometimes, although he couldn't hear what was they're talked about.

When he switched on his phone again to check what the time was, it's only 5 minutes before the next class starts, 'well great, I avoided those annoying talking with the boys'.

He had 15 missed calls and 10 unread messages from them. Huh!

Tuesday evening at Daoming Si mansion.

"Mr Chu, I'd like to change the menu for the party to Vegetarians. Something like Mediterranean salads, fruit salads, selection of nut, cheese yeah  like those things ". Daoming Si said to the house butler who couldn't hide his shocked face.

"Can you repeat again Young Daoming, you meant you want to add vegetarians options to the menu?" Asked Mr Chu carefully.

"No,not add.  I said I want the whole menu suitable for vegetarians " AhSi put in more determination voice.

"but why? Who are the vegetarians? How many people you invited are vegetarians?" Confused Mr Chu still do not understand.

"I do. I want to try new things" said AhSi very adamant.

"That is all I think, thank you Mr Chu , ...l oh and tomorrow morning can you prepare 2 boxes of vegetarians lunch for me to take to school also please ". AhSi then added.

"Hmm, actually make it 3 packed lunch boxes Mr Chu, make sure they're the most tasty ones!" 

"Very well Young Daoming, but shouldn't be 4 packed lunches for all your friends?" probed Mr Chu thinking those lunches are for F4.

Caught off guard, AhSi realised it, calmly he said, "Lei , doesn't like it".
