Be My BEST Friend (2)

Thursday Morning!

Daoming Si had trouble to sleep last night. He kept wondering whether Shancai was unwell yesterday. He was so concerned and decided to go early to school and find out.

He has been waiting outside the corridor of her classroom for over 20 minutes, until he finally saw her.

He sighed in big relief, at least she was not sick.

"Shancai....!" AhSi called.

"Oh, hi AhSi, what are you doing here? You are not wanting your jacket back, aren't you?  I haven't pick it up from the laundrette, I am sorry ". Shancai nervously answered. She was puzzled why Daoming Si standing outside her classroom again so early in the morning.

[What ! Honestly Dong Shancai , do you think I give a damn of that stupid yellow jacket? Really, I actually almost forget about it, .... but hmm since that stupid thing is under your protection I may use it as another advantage on my behalf ]

"Err, no. Don't worry about that. I just want to ask if you really can come to my party this weekend? You know the RSVP thing. My helper need to know the number people are coming" AhSi said it nonchalantly and pretended it was the normal protocol.

"O truly sorry AhSi , I haven't confirmed to you. I don't know where to find you. If it's not too late to tell you , then Yes, I would like to come. I will coming with XiaYou, my friend, well you have had met her right? If that's okay with you." replied Shancai hoping he would be find with that. 

YESSSS ( his heart jumping with joy! Too late?  Oh, if only you knew Shancai, if only you knew) 

"Of course not too late. I did say you can bring your friends with you, as many as you like". Smiled AhSi, his voice sounding too excited. 

AhSi eyes sparkled for a moment then flick to sadness quickly.

(If only you knew Shancai , you are the reason I invented this party.... well until my mother had other wicked plan)

"Anyway, do you like dumplings? " AhSi suddenly asked.

"Yes, I love dumplings. Why?" confused Shancai.

"Great, I will give you some later. I brought too many dumplings for my lunch today. Mr Chu, my butler made lots. Don't worry, it's vegetarian dumplings". AhSi try to reason out.

"I'll see you later" AhSi said it quickly while he still has the courage, left Shancai bewildered.

"There he is! " shouted MeiZuo when he saw AhSi entering their class.

"AhSi, you really are a dark horse my brother! " blurted out Ximen.

"Why don't you tell us.  You sounded not interested at all about Miss He Yuanzi, when actually your surprise party this weekend is your plan for welcoming her!" Ximen guffawed.

"What it is with you and big secrecy lately AhSi?" Lei questioned AhSi.

"Is your turning into vegetarian has something to do with her too?" probed Lei.

" WHAAAAAAT....!!" AhSi feel horrified.

"You all insane, making up things. Where did you get all the ideas" AhSi could not believe it  how his friends got it so wrong.

"AhSi, we did not making up! I told you I'll contact Yuanzi . When I DM her on Weibo, she replied 'Daoming Si throw the welcoming party for me, of course I'll come'. If you don't believe me, see it for yourself! " Ximen handed his phone to AhSi whom reluctantly peering at it.

AhSi feelings deflated, he was highly spirited after found out Shancai definitely will coming to his party. However now things getting more messy and complicated. It's really unpredictable and he   will never know how it will end up.

"Well, it's up to you guys, but trust me I was not and not intended to throw a party for her. It just happened like that. Suddenly she is coming to my party!" AhSi explanation didn't satisfied any of his friends.

"Whatever you say Si!" Everyone shouted in unison.

"Anyway , we are not going to join you with your vegetarian feast today. We do not mind them, but we were still hungry afterwards. We will going to cafeteria for lunch today, you can always join us eating in the cafeteria, I am sure they won't mind! " Ximen told AhSi before the class started.
